True. If I were Brad though,I would take them to court. I have no idea why Brad didn't press any charges or sue them.
Stealing a personal item from another human being just to hear some unfinished grooves by a musician they never met is the epitome of idiocracy,at least in my opinion.

It speaks volumes about certain individuals, as well, if they can be suckered by someone else to commit a crime and face imprisonment, while others benefit from it. A person doesn't earn "martyr" status or prove anything (to me, personally) by doing such things. I guess some people like being disposable and scapegoats.
 
Wasn't Lord supposed to pay a fine of few thousand euros or face up to 3 years of imprisonment for the "Chicago 1945 / Dreams Away" situation last November? What happened to that?
 
I guess Jaafar is another viable option of someone they could give unfinished songs to/have duet on songs with.
 
People have been speculating about Chicago 1945 being returned to Invincible, but what about Throwing Your Life Away (and maybe Don't Be Messin' Round)? Did he record new vocals after 1988 or whenever.

TYLA was recorded in 1986 and I don't think he revisted it, although I think there is a version of it with louder drums that steve/brad made.

DBMR was recorded in 1979 and reworked/re-recorded in 1982, 1986, 1990-91, 1993-95, and 2009

I thought it was recorded in September 1988? In between Liverpool and the first Pittsburg date?

I remember reading someone said Mike recorded TYLA, the same time he recorded the first Earth Song demo (which he began in Vienna)

I could be wrong but I remember being shocked that it was recorded after the Bad album.

I'm more dumbfounded as to how he was let in the seminar after leaking Chicago 1945 and Dream Away beforehand.

It was recorded in late December 1986. I believe the September 1988 dates were when some rough mixes were done.

Wasn't there a rework of "Don't Be Messin' 'Round" with Brad Buxer and Michael Prince registered in the U.S. Copyright Office?

Yup, “Don’t Be Messin’.” Michael Prince mentioned that it was in a folder with a bunch of other Invincible outtakes, so it seems like it was sourced from those sessions.

Was it the part where he talks about GYWOOM and Craze as well? Tbh it could be that it was worked on for TUC so it could be why the songs were in the same folder.

No, but I can’t imagine it would be anything else. Same spelling of “messin’,” plus the fact that MJ returned to it constantly.

That is a great point I hadn’t considered. If so, I find it weird that “Craze” would be in that folder since it was just an instrumental, but it’s entirely possible!

The fact that he wrote it/composed it mostly

Maybe it was just a producer's test bed, and was never intended to be finished. Actually scratch that, it was probably on the lists.
