Check out some veggie samosa recipes, decide I'm too lazy to sort out the garden, flip through a newspaper (I'm old-school) and then log on to MJJC. Whereupon I find sw23 is BACK! She is back, baby! I have missed a lot of things! 2 weeks is a long time to be absent from MJJC I am realizing. There are so many people in different threads I've looked at that I don't even recognize lol. You know, just two days ago I was reflecting on the difference between you and me. I say I need a break from the board ... annnnnnnnndddd ... sod all happens! You take a break which is actually, you know, a break. I was wondering how I could get the same mindset.
Well, OK, not the SAME mindset (she said, hastily). I mean, a similar level of adult, sensible application.
@turtleneck_sweater - who clearly knows my torture (why is she pretending she doesn't know?) and also knows me and @wendijane better than we know ourselves - started a Michael make-up thread. And then she kind of sat back and watched me and wend burn ourselves into the ground.
Feckin' awesome thread, though.. It's not just me and wend, obvs. Other peeps posted stuff, as well. Cool stuff. Beautiful stuff.
I think between all us lot we can manage that, lol.

I actually laughed out loud at the "adult" and "sensible" part. Do you remember my story about how I screamed and cried about a 35 year old sweat towel?!! This is how I've spent my time off the board. I didn't even include all the other unhinged moments (in fact, I NEVER include the *truly* unhinged moments because I do have some dignity). But no, I'm totally kidding. I know completely what you mean. Honestly, I just logged out of everything and that timing happened to align with being insanely busy both professionally and personally, so I haven't had really a spare moment to even get on here. I had an entire week of nightly dreams about Michael including an incredibly intense one where I swear to God he visited me spiritually and I wanted to log on here to tell people about it and I just did NOT HAVE THE TIME. It sucked. So part of it was intentional and part of it was just life stuff.
Ohhhh that does sound perfect for both of you! And a beautiful thread all around. I will try to dip into it soon. I still have several things open in my tabs to check out (including some interviews you bumped that I'm dying to check out). Who knows when I will get to it all.
Until then, I will just be over here murdering myself
