Yes, of course. Thriller was certified 34x platinum not too long ago. 3X platinum isn’t even a lot for an artist of Michael’s stature.

I'd say I just wonder how they certify sales in the streaming era. I kinda forgot.

That’s about 5 million copies sold. 2009 sales were massive I wonder where it ranked in the 2009 year end chart with those sales.
Interesting drop in 2006 as well as an interesting resurgence post 2019.
If only we had numbers for his other albums. Number ones and the essential should be interesting and naturally the studio albums.
