It's a picture of my ...memories so it's ingrained in that way zin. And it was a stand up , so a cut out small stand up in a magazine called BIG . Plus i love the burnt ochre , and the German ,Berlin jacket is probably my fave jacket of all

Sorry, what? It was a cardboard cut-out stand-up thingie but it was from a pop magazine? Wow! That is so cool. Unless I'm misunderstanding, lol.

I think that are his boots there giving he illusion cause he looks really tall there but god , seeing that in the magazine as a 'free gift' it was so exclusive i cannot explain it🫶

Yes and also , because we named it the jam shirt / who is it stand up - it was in the single of WII too . Hold on let me see if i can find the mag

ooh, hard disagree, doll. I get the boots thing and, yeah, they add an extra couple of inches to his height but I don't think that's got anything to do with the reality of his long legs. If anything is adding to the illusion of long legs it would be the skinny jeans, imo. I think he just does have long, elegant, dancer's legs.

I do love these boots, though. These ones and the ITC ones. ❤️

See, I just think he looks not too far from his actual height which, afaik, was 5' 9". He looks maybe an extra inch here.

Total agreement about the gorgeous colour of the shirt. Mad envy from me. I can't wear orange. My skin tone won't take it. Yellow or orange. Can't do either one of them. :(

im not sure if this will work It has sort of thrown me because i can't bloody find the magazine ... Makes me look like a fool but it came free with that magazine and also it was in the wii 7 inch single as a stand up. But BIG! spelt like that had the best , glossy dangerous posters/ post cards and they always focused on his leotard / fencing suit. They were really good to M. Smash hits brutally tounge in cheek and called him bonkers on the front cover and was very ...dear me, but yeah that is indeed the stand up , aint from late 1980s it is from 1992
And another good magazine was TV Hits . based on music and [ soaps stars of the time.]

Yeah i loved him in those boots. I tjink that kind of footwear really made him. I wasnt so keen on loafers that loafer thing. It was only when he started wearing those 90s clothes that got my attention. And when he teamed that with the RTT skirt and that ..whole outfit .I just loved all the textiles and iridescence

Ah he is so pretty in that like deep burnt orange 'jam shirt' lol Well not many people can take those colours. Although they are some of my fave colours and i like when they do.

@zinniabooklover zin Awwwww that's so cool thank you. oh god it feels so transparent. I had about ...4 so had the magazine 4 times.
It is so crazy cool seeing it on the screen. It was a bloody good size actually id say about maybe half of a ruler. it would fold in the middle and pop out. i can even see the crease fold where it would fold near his hands

oh, maybe he was more like 5' 7". His height is always quoted as 5' 9" which always looks about right to me but, you're right, people always look bigger / taller in photos or on tv than they do in real life. Mm, interesting ...

Apart from Jam and this photo I can't think of too many times where we see him wearing orange.

It was the ..one of the highlights of my collection.You would carry one about it would suddenly pop up and attack people haha

Yes it is hard to explain zin in text but we figured thanks for getting it out the link. But that was how it was it was just so much paper. I think i had more paper/books / pics/ pull out posters/ my own stuff than music to be honest. And the Magazine and the record was same quality but i preferred the magazine because that is where i saw it first.
