The Last Person to Post in This Thread Wins

this song's dedicated to the Sweet Shop Girls (aka byc)
Fixed that for you. And I'm letting you off lightly. I suspect @wendijane will have quite a lot more to say about this than me, lol. :D

Nah.

In the meantime, songs that I love which name-check the moon? Not that you asked but ... I have a list:

Moonshadow - Cat Stevens
Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Dancing In The Moonlight - Thin Lizzy
Moon River - Andy Williams
Harvest Moon - Neil Young
Moonlight Serenade - Glenn Miller & His Orchestra
Nanci Griffith - Once in a Very Blue Moon

My top, top fave is this one - The B-52's / There's A Moon In The Sky (Called The Moon) - 1979

4m 53s

Can't remember if the August Perseid meteor showers will be over by the time of the blue moon. 🤔

Thanks for the link. Interesting site, liked the articles there on other topics. 🤔🤔🤔

that is the name for our crew , We are the Baba Yaga Crew. :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: The Blue moon of 3 plus the power of 7 ! We are glorious, and the fuzz bugs boys do not like it because we crush them every time ha!

................
This is the one zin. ha ! ..Gaia -🌎.oh i would be immersed in this. I can hear earth Song as we type!
How many sources of power!!!!
A thought occurred to me, isn't this the magic of the number seven?

oh, it was! I didn't notice first time. But, yeah, I could imagine him doing something like that. Actually, when I was rooting around for those moon vids I saw one for an earlier exhibition that Luke Jerram did which I had forgotten all about. He had a similar thing but it was earth not the moon. And I saw it and immediately thought of how you could have that in a beautiful space and play Earth Song at the same time. Or people could listen to Earth Song on their museum headphones.

:)
Planet Earth would be good too. There could have been a very strong feeling in such an impressive setting.

It's just Fuz's little running 'joke'. I don't like the music of the Pet Shop Boys. Fuz is just doing a little bit of word play. The sweet shop girls is supposed to be me and wend and / or all of the BYC.
lol I remember my bro and me laughing about the name "Pet Shop Boys" as teens. Like "Tierladen-Jungs" (animal store boys) really? I like some of their music, my Dad really loved them as well. Sigh ... the 80s ...

But honestly ... the ONSTAGE-BUG-RESCUE?

"Security! ... Don´t kill it! Don´t kill itttt!"

Michael pulled that off to impress some good fish in the audience. :cool:That man was a playa besides being a humanitarian.
That wasn’t theatrics!

Yes  The seven is full of meaning in so many cultures. When I found out it was MJs favourite number I was stunned! As a kid it in elementary school 7 was my fave number because it is very ornate in handwriting.

You think so? I wanna believe it was genuine, but a part in me says that Michael cannot have been that adorable lol. Or just considerate. Most people who love animals (including myself) won´t hesitate to slap a noisy bug off the wall at night 😬
I would NEVER!

Ngl, I'm not that into 7. Just putting that out there, lol. I'm more into 9 or 8 or 6. That said, there is a lot of magical thinking around the number 7.

1 - Seven was symbolic in ancient near eastern and Israelite culture and literature. It communicated a sense of “fullness” or “completeness” (שבע “seven” is spelled with the same consonants as the word שבע “complete/full”). This makes sense of the pervasive appearance of “seven” patterns in the Bible.

2 -Seven represents harmony encompassed by yin, yang, and the five elements in Confucianism. There are seven higher worlds and seven underworlds in Hinduism. In Buddhism, the newborn Buddha takes seven steps.

3 - People affiliated with the number seven are believed to be insightful, intuitive, truthful, introspective, intellectual, and wise.

(stuff from Wiki)

Here's one I can definitely get behind:

4 - In the metaphysical philosophy of numerology, the number 7 signifies the Greek deity Athena and the Roman deity Minerva, both goddesses of war and the city protectress.
