The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Were the snippets of saturday woman confirmed as fake or are they real?
Sorry if it was already discussed

Wyclef Jean and Jerry Duplessis reportedly worked with MJ during Invincible.

He confirmed this in an interview saying that Michael never paid him for the work.

In the interview he obviously talks about sessions just after Blood On The Dancefloor, therefore the early sessions of Invincible.

However, I doubt the song made it past the vocal recording stage:

Well that's interesting. I was hoping they'd do something. I enjoy their remixes. Although considering what kinda person Wyclef Jean is, it's probably for the best.

I found an article from 2003 regarding the song between MJ and Jae-R.

Rap artist Jae-R visited Michael Jackson and Jackson sang on one of the songs Jae-R has on his demo, writes Dagbladet.

Additionally, Jackson's Norwegian friend Omar Bhatti is on the same song. Omar Bhatti has been a friend of Michael Jackson for several years and often visits the superstar.

Jae-R has composed four songs that are now with record labels, including one with Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson reportedly gave his consent for the song to be published.

Norwegian production company Dublyou entertainment produced Jae-R's demo.

The company also has Omer Bhatti in its stable.

I contacted him recently, I hope to get a response from him. He is still an artist and publishes songs on youtube.

The vault is far from empty from the looks of it, he’ll even half baked ideas with just choruses can be reworked into new tracks featuring artists.

My one request for a “completion” of a track is the song DiG with the Jackson brothers doing the verses and bg harmonies for Michael in the chorus and pre chorus.

DiG is a great example on how a song with very little vocals can be stretched into a whole song. Just a Pre-Chorus and a Chorus made a 4:30 minutes song. Can't even image what they can do with the proper producer and all those tape demoes.

And there's still more they might find. Lots of potential.

This is confirmed fake? That's too bad if it is. I actually really like this groove. It does remind me of a Bryan Loren production.

Well, it's a Very interesting sounding song, if it's a Thriller era MJ self-composition. Like a potential undiscovered Billie Jean, or at least a Girl Is Mine. There's a lotta potential there.

I'd love to hear this one.....this is supposed to be a demo for LaToya

This is one of the reasons why fake snippets confuse me; some people are genuinely talented and can create passionate art from legitimate appreciation of MJ's work, but then they go and try to fool others for attention(?) when they could just try standing out on their own within a however-small group of people or just be happy they made something like this in the first place. The one fake Red Eye snippet is one that I really like and made me realise how there's actual talent being wasted on small ideas and fabricated information (that be in the snippet or what they try to say about it) for nothing of actual value and that only diminishes their own work/creative ideas.

In 2004, there would also be a song called "Come back" with a certain Jud Mahoneys. Not sure if voices were really recorded.

Jud Mahoney from London was surprised to have a phone call from Michael in 2004 complimenting him on his song ‘Man Enough,’ and expressing a need to sign him to MJJ Records.

A very excited Jud traveled to Michael’s Neverland ranch to meet him, but he said Michael was very stressed about his trial at the time. Having said that, he was surprised at how normal Michael appeared to be at his home. Jud says:; “There was nothing crazy going on. He seemed like a genuinely lovely guy who was just focused on making records. There were a lot of dramas going on his life and he looked kind of frail.”

Jud played on an Xbox with Michael and they ate pizza. Although the song he wrote with Michael never saw the light of day, he hails the collaboration as the most special of his career. He was blown away by the energy and passion that Michael brought to their studio sessions.

Jud added; “I was a producer and I was doing well then, so I knocked up this track called ‘Come Back’ with him. We both came up with melodies. He’s very hands-on musically. People get the impression that he just goes in and sings these songs but he’s actually the main part of all these records. He was amazing. His natural energy and passion is far beyond anybody else I’ve worked with. Most people will sing a melody idea low because you’re in a room with just two people trying to come up with a song. When Michael did it, he turned from a softly spoken guy to literally singing at the top of his voice. It was like a dream.”

Inspired by the time he spent with Michael, Jud is finally emerging from the mixing desk to launch his own solo career. An album is expected next year.

Most of those snippets seem fake to me. It’s hard to know if they’re based on the real song, though, since we know almost nothing about it.
