No, they didn't do impersonator stuff on Opportunity Knocks. Not when I was watching it. Maybe a much later version of it did that. I stopped watching by the time I was a teenager but the early series, they weren't doing that. It was just your bog standard talent show.

fair enough. I had forgotten all about the Prince box set. I have zero interest in it. So Fuz wil be gone for the next 46 weeks or so. I already found out what I needed to know about Turkish coffee. It is supposed to be quite thick, it comes in cute little cups, you make it with a cute little copper thingy and it can be quite bitter, apparently.

I know. They were all crap. Victoria Wood got started bc she won New Faces. Same type of programme. I don't really like the newer versions of these programmes. Diversity were fabulous and the Susan Boyle moment was great but mostly I can't be doing with them. Oh, I saw that Sharfeen guy - oh god, can't remember his name, cannot remember how to spell it. Anyway, he's the kid who did Who's Lovin' You on BGT. I saw that.

I didn't do it. I've got too many. It's exhausting. I still haven't gone into the Quality Street tin or the shortbread biscuit tin. I was looking at my amber earlier today. Thought I didn't have any but I have a lovely piece. Very nice inclusions. No dead insects but very pretty inclusions. It lives in one of the little boxes and I hardly ever open those so I'd forgotten all about it.

They take turns singing parts of one song. Then they are evaluated by a jury, similarity of vocals and similarity of behavior on stage, energetics (I don't know how to write it correctly) choose one and he passes to the second round, what will be there I don't know yet. Before the performance the participants are introduced and they tell why they appreciate their idol. There are several idols in one program. In one of the episodes there will definitely be Michael's fans, I'm interested, and there will be 3))))

Sounds to me like it wouldn't just be tribute artists but just anyone who loves the pop star and likes to try to recreate their performance to some degree. I'm just guessing.
