Yes re: place holder shots (it did become distracting towards the end as it was quite repetitive. If memory serves me well most/at least some of the missing shots are a separate interview with MJ that either they haven’t cleared the video rights (as audio is present) or they didn’t render it in time for the preview
 
I came across this again yesterday, and it got me so hyped for the ‘thriller 40’ documentary. I wonder why spike lee didn’t direct it, to complete the epic trilogy like he wanted to?
the footage of michael performing ‘don’t stop til you get enough’ is dazzling and rare. he already had the footwork, and he sounded angelic💜
thriller will be even better I just know it 🤩

I want to see a good quality performance of DSTYGE so badly. It feels almost as iconic as the billie Jean performance for me but it’s probably because I’ve been craving to see it for decades.

Because that's actually a terrible idea. Why would they make a Thriller 41 box set? Just get it right the first time.

And Thriller 40 was released in time for the 40th, so that period is done.

As for T25. It was done only the 1 time. No second reissue necessary.

The only thing coming after the 40th is the Thriller Documentary, but people think that's sacrilege enough. Just say you want new songs again.

Prob cause they finally got approval from the brothers. Also can anyone tell me why the brothers are so hesitant on releasing things?
