Yeah but I was relating it to MJ and the possible soundtrack. You know he's talking about Freddie Mercury here right
Yeah it was
That tracks. It sounds a lot like Summer Soft and other SitKoL tracks.Stevie's take was originally meant for Songs in the Key of Life, so 1976. I believe he showed the song to MJ in 1978/79.
I understandYeah but I was relating it to MJ and the possible soundtrack.
It was mentioned by Frank Cascio in his book, if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure he said he used to listen to that and other songs around the recording of DangerousWas Saturday Woman mentioned during the 1993 deposition? The “list of unreleased songs recorded by Michael Jackson” Wikipedia article has it listed as being so, but I've watched the whole deposition and I never heard it being mentioned.
Bridge was trimmedWhy get your weight off of me did not leaked in full .what's the difference in 5.17 version.
Intro and instrumental break was trimmed, also one chorus had been cut.Why get your weight off of me did not leaked in full .what's the difference in 5.17 version.
Yes, Damien Shields mentioned this on his Twitter a while back. He also said that he hasn’t yet listened to the song. One interesting bit of information is that Saturday Woman appears on a unreleased note from 2009 (songs MJ wanted to finish). Along with some others like Deep In The Night and Hollywood Tonight.
Yeah, that's wild. Before we started getting more info over the past few years I didn't think MJ had many plans due to being busy with TII but he was thinking about tracks we never would have imagined.MJ still having “Deep in the Night” on his radar has to be one of the craziest Damien Shields revelations in my opinion. The leaked demo doesn’t really do much for me; I’m surprised it caught MJ enough to be on his mind two decades later. I wonder if there’s a more complete version.
Counteropinion: Deep in the Night is one of his best unfinished sketches by far. It has an insanely catchy groove, like TWYMMF. It's interesting.MJ still having “Deep in the Night” on his radar has to be one of the craziest Damien Shields revelations in my opinion. It could also be that he simply liked the title, it doesn't have to be the same track as the one we heardMJ still having “Deep in the Night” on his radar has to be one of the craziest Damien Shields revelations in my opinion. please stopGuys someone sent me this
Several songs Jackson recorded for Bad remain unreleased: “Bad Company,” “Broken Chair,” “Buffalo Bill,” “Crack Kills,” “Get Back on Me,” “The Hunt,” “Tomboy,” “What You Do to Me.” One song, “Cheater,” was released on 2004’s The Ultimate Collection.
So, it was produced by Bottrell then?Guys, there's two versions of Deep In The Night. The first version that leaked, and then another version that Bryan Loren wrote. I asked Bryan Loren a few years ago on Facebook messenger since I heard it first at a Brad Sundberg seminar. Loren told me that the song I heard at the Sundberg seminar (the one that has leaked) is NOT his song. His song was written for Invincible and it was pure coincidence that MJ had already demoed a song with the same title. So there's more to this song title, it seems.
That explains the chorus and the Bad era shuffle then. Also I have some more bits of information for you guys, Deep In The Night's original title was 'What Of The World' and was made for the Bad album.
Did you get this information during a Brad Sundberg seminar? Also I have some more bits of information for you guys, Deep In The Night's original title was 'What Of The World' and was made for the Bad album.
No, the trading community. Those guys know a lot but rarely give information. For example did you know that MJ reworked Cheater in 2009? He re-recorded most of the vocals for it but it wasn't finished/incomplete.Did you get this information during a Brad Sundberg seminar?
Have they redone the music though? It just sounds like a song from the 80s, it would have been obsolete in 2009.No, the trading community. Those guys know a lot but rarely give information.
