I was wondering why Invincible randomly cited Marvin's Room as a studio when the only confirmed track recorded there was "Hot Fun In The Summertime"

Well this is interesting. I've heard of Tim & Bob. I'm a fan of Donell Jones (R&B singer) and Tim & Bob did some nice production on his Journey of a Gemini album.

I was convinced there was practically nothing left from the Invincible sessions, so 3-4 completed tracks is great to hear!!
 
Anyway I made a list of all the remaining Invincible outtakes that we know of with all the new info/leaks we got in the last couple of years. Let me know if I missed anything.

Maybe. But also, listening to that interview just posted with Tim from Tim & Bob, he mentions DeVante having some ideas/music and MJ just never getting back to him. Frustrating to the point that DeVante just gave up on MJ and walked away from working with him. I guess what I am trying to get at, MJ just didn't seem really into it during this time period.

And let's not forget the Neptunes and all the music they had ready to go. But I guess that never made it to MJ's ear.

There's been no confirmation of that. MJ presented them a few songs that ended up on the album in 99 and Tommy Motolla was raving about it, I remember reading a statement he made. I think the only problem they had was the time it was taking to finish.

I recall Michael Prince said Hanson is an early version of "The Way You Love Me".

There are 2 versions of Colorblind worked with Michael Prince and Brad Buxer/Rodney Jerkins, but given how MJ started working with MP and Rodney in 1998/1999 it's implied that they're from the Invincible era.

Yeah but I don't think it was ever confirmed if MJ recorded vocals for the track that early on or if he began to lay vocals only when the song began to be called "What You Do To Me", so that's why I put it in the unknown section.

For Dr Freeze, Michael Prince discussed 6 songs with MJ during the Invincible period.
But that only the 3 songs we know were priorities for MJ.


I think Bio and Hanson are just instrumentals. But to be confirmed indeed.


Regarding a possible Paralympics 1999/2000 single, I have done quite a bit of research on it which I may share soon. I came to the conclusion that either there are no MJ songs or an unfinished song, perhaps the song For The World. But that's my guess.

Tim says only about 3-4 have vocals on them.
 
Could someone please link me to the interview where the "Oh Yeah" Invincible track was mentioned ?
