Can you say more about that? It's about money, as it always is. He sued the Estate to get extra millions -- and did get some money, but not as much as he wanted. So he's angry at them.

For Bad, the only real outtake is Streetwalker since everything else was scrapped before the Westlake sessions began and all the unreleased songs from Bad era that we've heard so far are all produced and written by Michael with the exception of Groove of Midnight. So what outtakes produced by Quincy are unreleased? Bad and other eras..
Posthumous releases in general. He's one of those pretentious types who believe unreleased songs are somehow a stain on one's legacy.
One that comes to mind is “Behind The Mask” (Westlake Studio version)So what outtakes produced by Quincy are unreleased? Bad and other eras..
Beyond the ones already mentioned above, I can think of Hot Street and Nightline. So what outtakes produced by Quincy are unreleased? Bad and other eras..

I believe Roll The Dice was a Rod cut right? Then there may be other songs which we have no idea about. Oh and Groove of midnight, but I think this one was mentioned. So:
Behind the mask final
Hot street
Niteline
Streetwalker different version
That is really not much unreleased quincy stuff. Considering most are leaked/released as a different version.
Anyway I hope Hot street will be released one day.
Fly Away seems complete to me and mixed well. Well, Streetwalker and Fly Away were the two unreleased songs that came out with the 2001 special edition. For Bad, the only real outtake is Streetwalker since everything else was scrapped before the Westlake sessions began and all the unreleased songs from Bad era that we've heard so far are all produced and written by Michael with the exception of Groove of Midnight.
I don't think there are many unreleased songs produced by Quincy outside of what we already have.
Fly Away was recorded at Hayvenhurst and never made it to Westlake. Only song considered for Bad and made its way to Westlake is Streetwalker.Fly Away seems complete to me and mixed well. Well, Streetwalker and Fly Away were the two unreleased songs that came out with the 2001 special edition.

Wait, even before The Girl Is Mine?Rolling the Dice was the first song Michael recorded for the album
Niteline is finished. I mentioned a few pages back that this was supposed to be released with a clock in 1983Beyond the ones already mentioned above, I can think of Hot Street and Nightline.
Some people may argue Nightline is a demo, but given the structure, I'd say it's finished.
My mistake. The first song Rod presented to Michael for the album.Wait, even before The Girl Is Mine?
If Spice of Life was recorded by Michael that's a Rod Cut too.I believe Roll The Dice was a Rod cut right? Then there may be other songs which we have no idea about. Oh and Groove of midnight, but I think this one was mentioned.
Absolutely.Nymphette Lover, that's a song I never see get brought up around here.
I recall seeing an article around the time T40 was released and it said that there were at least a dozen outtakes produced by Quincy. There's definitely a good amount of titles out there that we don't know of.So:

"...Yes, assures Laurent Hopman, there are still many unpublished works by Michael Jackson. Some, like Hot Street, and Night Line, have already leaked, but in poor quality. “There are a dozen or so titles, recorded during this period, which we know of and which are sufficiently accomplished to be interesting. But these titles, produced by Quincy Jones, will not be released as long as the famous producer is at odds with the singer's estate."
"The estate did a musical show in Las Vegas, 'Michael Jackson One,' using recordings of music produced by Quincy Jones, but they remixed it, partly to avoid having to pay royalties." The dispute even went to trial, with the producer claiming millions of dollars from Michael Jackson's estate."
That's gotta be the most mysterious Thriller-era song there is, literally jack shit is known about it except the year it was recorded. I'm not that interested in listening to pre-1983 songs but that's one of the few titles from that era that sparks my interest for sure.Nymphette Lover, that's a song I never see get brought up around here.
I dunno what this one could be about, but yeah… maybe change that title if it ever comes out.Nymphette Lover, that's a song I never see get brought up around here.
I dunno if I’d trust that source. Lauren Hopmant? I believe she’s just an average fan.I recall seeing an article around the time T40 was released and it said that there were at least a dozen outtakes produced by Quincy. There's definitely a good amount of titles out there that we don't know of.

Maybe it's P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing) Prototype.I dunno what this one could be about, but yeah… maybe change that title if it ever comes out.
My bad—Thank you for the correction!Laurent is a he and he was the co-founder of Black & White magazine.
Then again, he propagated the "Decade" hoax where he claimed it had two completely false tracklists and completed artwork. My bad—Thank you for the correction!
That definitely gives him some credence.
I’m not believing there’s a lot of unreleased music produced by Quincy.
