No, it was Whitney Houston's song that blocked Heal the World in the UK. Other songs like Scream were top 3 in pure sales for the week but kept out of the top spot due to lack of radio airplay.

yes in the UK! MJ had quite a few number 2 songs in the charts that just couldn’t make it over the edge which is disappointing.

He was more of an albums artist anyway!

If Streams were a thing in the 90s, pretty much all of Michael's songs would have likely hit #1 on the charts though. He was ahead of his time

I encourage you to read the posts about that here on this forum.

That story is also very suspect and we still don't really know if all the details the media put out are true. The estate never put out any statement other than some very suspect quotes allegedly from Branca. That make no sense and are contradictory. The media didn't even spread that story around which is also telling.

The fact that Stacy Brown was involved in the story also makes it even more suspect.

So take that washington infomer article with a grain of salt.

What's likely is that the movie was planned to be too long due to the estate and co. not wanting to leave anything out which lead to some development issuess. Nothing else really

The UK chart has never factored in airplay.
Scream did not get to number 1 purely because it did not sell enough.

So we don't even know for sure it is the Cascios, do we... If it is them though... Jesus, did Michael have any friends at all??? It would make sense to discuss his ability to hang out with the wrong kind of people. I would trace it all back to growing up in his family... being isolated from his peers and feeling lonely. With that thing in your head you might be drawn to seeking surrogates' company later in life.

I see... Do we know what exactly they are accusing Michael of? Or do we only know they threatened the Estate to go public with who knows what?
The nerve of them... The hypocrit interview they gave while all smiling and claiming the tracks were legit. Is there a consensus on whether the tracks were part of the deal of not going public as well?

And yet when I tried to warn you guys that Guilters , especially from that reddit sub were infiltrating this site I was made out to look paranoid and delusional.

Mods if you do not act immediately to ban these Guilters from this site they will take it over.

Just like how they plotted and planned and got the mjinnocent sub reddit banned. They want to silence anyone who presents the facts about Michael's innocence.

They are well organized. They even work actual time shifts to undermine Michael's legacy and push the Guilter narrative all over the Internet.

Anyone who questions Michael's innocence should not be welcomed in fan communities. They have the whole Internet to go slander Michael. We fans should have a few safe spaces where we can talk about Michael without having to hear Guilter bullshit constantly and have to waste time debunking their propaganda.

This is one of the last English language MJ Forums. It would be ashamed if it were overran MJ haters and guilters.

They have not accused him of anything yet.

Allegedly they threatened to make some kind of be allegations. So classic extortion basically.

It's worth mentioning that if the story is true. The casio's had been trying to get Frank's book ( you know the one were passionately defends Michael's innocence) made into a movie.

And the deal the estate supposedly made with them was NOT a settlement it was the estate purchasing their life rights. So it's possible that this story is fake news made up based on the estate buying their life rights. The media is not above fabricated quotes from people to slander Michael.

It's also worth mentioning that the estate finally removed the fake tracks from the Michael album a few years ago.

So the Cascios certainly have a motive to want to get revenge, just like Wade who also suddenly flipped after being denied a job.

They are only here to spread Guilter propaganda.

About the Cascios thing, I don't really like them or care enough to follow them, but what I remember the exact words from the estate is that they threatened to go public with "embarrassing" information about MJ. It doesn't sound like an accusation, it sounds like they wanted to go public with a secret they knew about MJ... uh, still blackmail.
