The Estate of Michael Jackson continues to bring new life to the legendary artist’s iconic works. Following the recent release of “Rock With You” as an upscaled video, the Estate has now turned its attention to “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough,” the electrifying lead single from Michael Jackson’s groundbreaking Off The Wall album.
This visual upgrade coincides with the release of Off The Wall on Audiophile Vinyl and SACD, aligning with the Estate’s ongoing efforts to preserve and enhance Michael Jackson’s artistry for future generations. While the newly updated video isn’t a true 4K remaster due to limitations in the original source material, the Estate has confirmed it represents a significant improvement in quality.

Balancing Technology and Originality

According to the Estate, both Sony and their team rigorously tested multiple upscaling technologies before deciding on the best approach to deliver a cleaner and more refined visual experience. Though full 4K resolution was unattainable, this upgraded version of “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” promises to offer fans a fresh way to enjoy one of Jackson’s most celebrated music videos.
While this may not meet the full expectations of fans hoping for true 4K quality, it is undeniably a step up from previous versions. The improvements in color, clarity, and overall sharpness ensure that the video feels more vibrant and polished, even if it falls short of modern ultra-high-definition standards.

What’s Next?

With “Rock With You” and “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” both receiving upgraded treatments, the next video set for enhancement is “She’s Out of My Life” as this is the only video left from that period. Fans can expect the same dedication to quality as the Estate works to preserve the timeless visuals of Off The Wall.
Michael Jackson’s legacy as a visionary artist remains unmatched, and the Estate’s commitment to revitalising his catalog ensures that his genius continues to resonate in the modern era. Whether it’s through updated videos, pristine audio releases, or other projects, Michael’s work remains a touchstone of creativity and innovation.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Estate continues to unveil these refreshed classics, bringing a renewed energy to the King of Pop’s unforgettable artistry.

Can we stop trying to write everything off with the label "audiophile"?! It's just a version that's better than what Sony can do. That's all it is.

What next, this upload is the "DSTYGE videophile edition"?

I absolutely love it💜it felt like I was taken along for the ride. the colours really pop. best of all, the speed and fluidity in michael’s movement remain intact. this was always one of my favourite clips, and now I’ve experienced it in a whole new way after all these years 💜
I’m waiting for the ‘billie jean’ upgrade now..

If that isn't a fitting introduction to Off the Wall's 46th birthday!🥳

soo to get this straight (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) the audio and video quality got 'upscaled' and better..? I mean I personally didn't hear anything "new" but who knows I might be wrong..
https://drownedworldrecords.com/pro...MI04uD_4O4iwMVeC3UAR368zJrEAQYASABEgJJ1PD_BwE why is it soo expensive 😭 😭
After having the multitracks for years now....I dont hear much of anything different

I've seen so many fans do this already & maybe even a bit better. I dont have any excitement about this like I did beat it. I had saw thriller in '17 but one thing is can't understand or get is where or why is there no footage or bts of Michael performing on the blue screen of this....or can you feel it. Very weird but I feel like for dstyge could've still been done way better from original source material. Tape or not! & I hope billie jean will be better because they don't have much to with on that either & I didn't see much of a change for t40 so....idk

That's a good question. I wonder what audio master they used for this video remaster?

Obviously would be best if it was the MoFi version. But then, it's absolutely impossible to tell the difference on a phone, so it doesn't doesn't matter.

why is it soo expensive
Simply because people who buy vinyl are gullible.

not to derail the thread, but someone uploaded a 4k remaster upgrade of michael and the jacksons at motown 25. I don’t know much about this stuff technically, but it’s the best visual I’ve ever seen of this performance 💜I’ve said for years that it should be on the official channel.

I feel we only really need upgrades from anything on 35mm. Everything else looks good on the small screen until you blow it up

You guys think Billie Jean is the next one? 👀
Wasn't that shot on 16mm film?

Oh god.. I feel like they also gonna use the tape sources to ai-remaster the stuff that was shot on film 😅🥲😐
