I always felt it was generic! Like a Microsoft word default. & he couldn't see the band so it was way too many technical issues

Also never saw the connection to smooth criminal. But would make sense. I like the stage even tho it’s kinda the most 2000s stage ever.

It was a mediocre show. I never thought about the stage.

I did like the Jacksons' entrance with their silhouettes in the windows, and of course, Michael was front and center. But, after that, it was just there and I paid no mind to it.

I also have to say it is recognizable. Yeah, it might be bland, but if you see the stage set without context, you're gonna know it's from the 30th anniversary.

Controversially, probably the second best set MJ ever had for a concert, second only to This Is It. Stage design wasn’t really a big deal in his heyday so, bland as it may be nowadays, that was pretty goddamn complex for him.

The strange thing for me about the show was the exclusion of 'earth song'(which would have been fantastic with the crane), and the fact it felt like a completely different performer to the one we saw at the HIStory/ What More Can I Give shows. I can't put my finger on it, but something was different in his way of performing.
