What do you think will happen after the biopic, if the estate decides to release something (not another thriller re-release).
Personally, I would like to see a compilation like the Ultimate Collection, but with more unreleased material.
I also think that in the biopic itself, we won't see any unreleased songs, but rather something basic for MJ like Billy Jean and other popular tracks.

I hope to see some publicity for this movie where I live! The first time I heard about the biopic was here or on MJ fan pages on social media lol Can't wait to see if people here will talk about it

I want to see biopic as soon as possible, but I don't want it to be constantly postponed and that they will make a normal voiceover for my country or show it here
 
Well if the biopic is out, that's when we finally gets MJ's live in real 4k😭
 
Prince said that they were looking through unreleased music for the biopic, so I assume we’ll get something.

As for after, I think it depends. If the biopic is the smash everyone expects it will be, I think the estate will capitalize on the hype train and start pumping projects out. As for whether or not they will be projects any of us want…

I remember that two unreleased songs were planned for the soundtrack but that's already been 1-2 years ago. The Estate confirmed that documentaries for the other albums will come sooner or later after the biopic and well the 50th anniversaries are also coming up and if they don't release box-sets then (like The Beatles Super Deluxe for example), then I'll give up all hope.
 
Maybe they'll do Bad 40 along with a HD concert.

If the follow-up to the Dangerous Mofi reissue won't be the Bad album, then I'd say it's pretty much obvious they're saving it for mid to late 2027. (assuming MoFi will keep on with a 6 month release slate)

Not only has Prince said they're looking through unreleased music but it's already been confirmed that the Estate has been looking through the archives from the Thriller to Dangerous albums to make new music for the soundtrack, so we're definitely getting something.

Michael Jackson estate plot major music comeback with one goal in mind

Producers are trying to unearth new music to be used as part of the Michael Jackson biopic which is currently in production - and have one focus in particular

They want the songs to be nominated for the Oscars, and in order for that the song has to have been written specifically for the biopic. I half-expect them to release a new Jaafar song and have unheard MJ verses on it since there's obviously no way for Michael to write new music lol.
 
Days in Gloucestershire could be played during the J5 scenes.
 
Unfortunately, I think new releases on physical media are a thing of the past, it all has to be streaming now. I don't even see a lot of films being released on Blu-ray anymore.

actually all major films are released on physical and more "older" restored content is released on physical than digital
 
We're exhausted of re-releases. If they're going to included unreleased music, just make it its own release. No reason to buy an anniversary album again

No, we had the MoFi SACD last year. Don't need anything else as nothing could be better.

The UK Official Chart still does a weekly DVD chart. The Top 20 for this week is full of films from the last 7 - 8 months. The sales figures are probably tiny compared to streaming figures but dvd's are clearly still a thing. Someone is buying them!

This is from last year but it's pertinent, imo.
