The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Yes. There were a lot of calls for the “Such A Loser” chorus hook snippet being fake, but I’ve always thought it sounded real and pretty catchy.

Kai is more in the know about what is real/AI though so may well be a fake

It could be real.. the snippets are just too short… but I just said the music kinda sounds AI generated. But also AI generators are good so i can be wrong 🤣🤣

Yeah I don't see a reason to have doubts when everything this channel posted has been legit. I agree that it does sound like a YT recreation a bit (I swear I've found one on YT a while back that's scarily alike but I'm having trouble remembering which it was) but then so did the "Adore You" snippets and those were real, so.

Those old enough to remember the X-Files may remember the quote "a lie is most convincingly hidden between two truths". Not saying this is the case here. Just be wary.

Fair point. There is that other leak channel that posted a fake snippet of Victory not even a week ago lol

And also, the leaker is saying they'll be posting "Monster" and "Water" in CDQ next.

Wasn't there anyone from this forum who was actually at that event with Buxer and Michael Prince?

Water, Adore You, RWITY, Dark Lady, Michael's Affirmation, it all seems to come from there. What else could they have made the people present hear?

I'm not wishing that something like this happens to other people who worked with MJ, but if this incident happened in the seminar with Michael Prince and Brad Buxer we would be getting tons of new songs like GYWOOM, Monster, Rocker or any other song from the 2000's. Kind of crazy to think about.
I'm trying to dig up old posts from around the seminar, funny how it kinda happened but they've been gatekeeping the recording ever since

There's a lot more instruments in this track than what was audible in the earlier snippets, which kinda changed my whole view on it.

It's such a shame that the Hold My Hand leak messed things up, it scared Michael into avoiding vocals in the recordings and thinking it was better to add them just before release. These instrumentals on their own sound so sick tho...

Michael singing "water" echoing in the background at the end of the snippet sounds ethereal. Criminal that the snippet ends right there.

Hearing this in HQ is gonna be such a trip. What a wild time in the fandom with all these leaks, to me it already surpassed the 2023 leaks for an absolute fact.

LegendZX1 :

Everything is on my hard drive. Those snippets are from my phone in mono on purpose. Buxer is one of the sources. I don’t know any other people who may have what I have. For example my version of ‘Adore You’ runs 6:11. My version of ‘Changes’ file says it is 8:00, but the file stops at 7:25 on the dot as the backing choir plays.

Who is this guy?

I was at two seminars with Brad Buxer and Michael Prince as a guest at Dierks Studio in Stommeln, near cologne. At least druing the seminar organized by Brice Najar, they played Adore You (but not the full thing, they did fade it out), Water and Michaels Affirmation. Dark Lady was to my knowledge never ever played at a seminar. The remaining snippet leaks are not from seminars either. Changes or Innocent Man (doesn't contain many additional vocals, but has a cool guitar solo at the end) have never been played anywhere, or even mentioned.

So you can confirm that both Adore You Snippets and Water are legit?

Is there any chance to get a full song (or more maybe) by the end of the year? TYLA for example?

they are. It sounds as if the snippets are not seminar recordings, but still not of the best quality. I doubt that the leaker has these songs in their entirety. (I guess, Changes, Innocent Man and Remember What i Told you comes from the same source.) I know them all - I heard them once in person and in confidence, not at a public event. All of them would have made great songs, and the beats of Adore You and Innocent Man are wonderfully mature, with only Michael's lead vocals missing. (I don't think they should be leaked. As exciting as the whole thing is, the damage to MJ's legacy outweighs it.)

The leaker said that they record the songs with their phone and convert it to mono. So he might have the full CDQ.
Also can you describe a little bit the structure of the songs you've heard? That will give us a very helpful insight on the tracks.

Do you remember the context for them playing "Water" and "Michael's Affirmation"? I heard they played GYWOOM at the same event per the audience's request, but those 2 are random picks for sure lol.

Did they give any backstory on "Water"? Like the year it was created? I read in a YT comment by @will1753 (he went to that seminar) and he said it was made with the sole purpose of trying out Melodyne. Is that authentic?

I don't remember exactly what they said about it. In any case, Water was written after Invincible. They played it because it was written and recorded with Brad Buxer (and possibly Michael Prince). I wasn't convinced by the unfinished song. But I was convinced by Adore You. And Michael's Affirmation was also written over a Brad Buxer/MJ instrumental when Roy from Siegfried and Roy was bitten by a tiger. (the instrumental was created for Invincible and was called "Photographs")

Incidentally, the lyrics from Michael's Affirmation are based on the poem he had already recorded for Akio Morita in the late 1980s (I think I recognized the words “every day, in every way, I'm feeling better and better”).
