"She's a streetwalker at her age,
She's young and she's afraid.
She sells her body to get paid,
It's too much for a girl her age.
Police is stalking her today,
They now know she ran away.
She is running 'cause she's scared..."
"She doesn't even have a ticket,
She doesn't even have a way back.
She's lost and she's alone,
there's no place for her to go.
She is young and she is cold,
Just like her father told her so."
Yes, thank you but there was supposed to be a third verse also right? You mean the bridge lyrics?
That's all the lyrics? So that's the bridge and the next verse leading up to the chorus?I think the third verse was the “she’s a streetwalker at her age” paragraph that ChanceToDance shared. It follows the established narrative of the song well (girl arrives in Hollywood, starts prostituting, winds up being chased by the police).
This is great. Thank you for sharing. From Michael album documentary:

The song would've been so brutal. It's a shame that he never got to finish it.I will always wonder how much farther the song would have progressed.
The ones who worked with Michael to create and form this song, should've been the ones who "finished" it.they should have used those lyrics. Teddy could have sung them or even Janet.
i don't understand why they butchered this song.

If so that seems like it radically alters the progression of the song. It's certainly not just the first verse copied over. Also a much darker narrative than just, Hollywood Tonight. Way darker, an actual warning tale in fact.
It's more common than you think. But he's definitely the most "popular" of them all. Like so many like him as a person And an artist, not just respect his art or acknowledge it as good but not their thing.Yeah Michael did so many 'dark' songs.. With a lot of 'em 'disguised' as happy dance tracks
It's so weird to see he is regarded as a 'pop artist' actually. I mean he was hella popular allright, but I can't think of any other pop artist touching upon such profound and controversial themes like he did

Boooo, he rhymed with "age" twice
