You always so negative. How are Sony able to rig it so Chicago stays so high?
I got no idea. But do you honestly not find it strange that the song is in the top 3 for a couple of months?! If you asked somebody to name 10 MJ songs, they would never say Chicago. You always so negative.
Why would Sony rig Chicago? If they wanted to rig a song to get high daily streams, Chicago would be one of the last songs they would think of.
tiktok effect ( 2022), same thing on YouTube since 2022.I got no idea. But do you honestly not find it strange that the song is in the top 3 for a couple of months?! If you asked somebody to name 10 MJ songs, they would never say Chicago.
I think Sony just wants to promote Xscape so that they can start calling it a "legendary" album.
No, bc this has been building up since summer 2022. 'HCW' started to go viral in spring 2022 - possibly bc of a speeded-up version being posted on TT and people posting vids of themselves dancing to it. July 2022 'Chicago' passes 100,000 daily streams for the first time, overtakes 'HCW' and by July 2024 it's at No.5 in Michael’s daily Spotify stats.I got no idea. But do you honestly not find it strange that the song is in the top 3 for a couple of months?!
Agreed. Or 'HCW' but both of them have done really well over the last couple of years. It's just a different era.If you asked somebody to name 10 MJ songs, they would never say Chicago.
Sony would have to be playing a hell of a long game. Personally, I find it more believable that it's happening just bc that's the (sometimes random) nature of streaming.I think Sony just wants to promote Xscape so that they can start calling it a "legendary" album.
