The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Can we all just stop yapping and have someone leak Neverland Landing already, it's so beautiful and it's a completely finished song too. Issue is, the Estate probably won't ever release it, and it sucks because Michael has three other songs from the cancelled Peter Pan Spielberg film that could potentially make a good Peter Pan themed EP. Someone might as well drop the whole track for the fans to enjoy, it's not only a reminder of what could've been but the childlike essence and innocence Michael portrayed. I know that if Michael really wanted us to hear it, he would've found a way to release it while he was alive given the many appropriate chances he had like the Victory album, Bad album, Thriller Special Edition, The Ultimate Collection, or Thriller 25 (since he clearly wasn't putting content that was directly from the sessions anyways .) I don't understand why the opportunity was never taken, it's not like the song lacks any quality, it was finished for a soundtrack, it just never found a proper home. The Estate could've repurposed it by dubbing over some new instrumentation while maintaining its original content and put it on the 2010 Michael album, I would've hated to see it remixed for Xscape unless it was somehow done appropriately. It could be placed in the biopic, maybe for a scene with Neverland, but that's a big if considering it already belongs with a group of songs for a project that they still can release.

I think the chance is now for a collector to drop this track, there's no worth in gatekeeping it unless a good reason can be given.

Guys which better neverland landing or dream away ?
That's a hard question, both sound magical and enchanting. I think it depends on whether you're debating on quality, I'd say Neverland Landing, but Dream Away carries a similar beauty, less child-like of course but that doesn't take it's glow away, you can ascend to that one, can't day the same about NL.

What matters is that you get the Neverland Landing hype and leak it :love::love::love::love::love: it wouldn't really hurt you nor your ego file sharing buddies
Sorry I was being too harsh here, realistically I understand if you had to gatekeep out of trust or so, but sources shouldn't be holding back stuff like this. The fandom needs to hear this gem, it'll make you feel like a millionaire, not penniless 😉

I think "Adore You", "Water", and "Rocker" are guaranteed to get leaked sometime soon since we've heard almost everything. Might be a good while for us to hear "Dark Lady" and "Just Remember" though.
Don't get too excited, all the snippets we got from those songs come from the same source (Motif) or are close, including Smelly and ZX1, who is likely Znop.

I just hope all these provocations are just a teaser.

(I already know that some stuff like Just Remember comes from Kai but that doesn’t mean anything)

I hope that the full version of the unreleased Michael Jackson song I Have This Dream which was written by Michael Jackson, Carole Bayer Sager and David Foster and produced by David Foster needs to be leaked soon!!!

I never thought Streetwalker ‘87 would’ve ever leaked, so the chances of Neverland Landing leaking shouldn’t be that low

And also somebody needs to leak the 2005 all-star version of I have this dream by Michael Jackson, the first version of on the line by Michael jackson that was written and produced by Babyface that was recorded for his 1995 double disc album History: Past, Present and Future: Book I and some Lashawn daniels writer’s demos of you don’t love me, threatened, you rock my world, privacy and unbreakable by Michael Jackson that was produced by Rodney Jerkins

Oh, is the 95 version of On The Line that different than the one that got released in 97 ?

I think it’s so highly under wraps that the snoop dog team can’t get it, I think some collectors have the opportunity to get it but they literally need to sign NDAs to get a copy/to hear it

Did Threaten and Break of Dawn leak from the early Invincible? The differences are subtle but absolutely there:

No, that's from the A Cappella / Instrumental / TV Track package that's been circulating. There's also a Multi-Track as you might remember.
Remember the remixes from people like Nick? That was approx. 10 years ago.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. I knew there were rumours of a Threatened multi leaking.

^ You're welcome. Also regarding HCW: The changes aren't limited to sound quality and just a few ad-libs, it has different takes (and yes, he is straining his voice on this recording, there's no Melodyne), different backing, different mixing.

Regarding sound quality: If anyone remembers the audiophile mastering of "Butterflies" that I have shared in 2010 IIRC (NOT from the DAT), that gives you an idea of the kind of level the recordings originally sounded like - more comparable to the HIStory album. The same applies to the "new" tracks that were released on BAD 25, their original masters had lots of dynamics, too.
