The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

@Fuzball, exactly! Most of these 2026 files are modern Lavf60 transcodes. I've just analyzed an old copy of "People of the World" I got from a Skype friend back in 2014. It's 320kbps encoded with LAME3.99r (MD5: C167E3BE13D9FA2B3E207DEF4D4DCEB1). No added reverb, no Dolby NR issues like in Rocker. It seems the "original" files you're asking for were already floating around in high quality years ago, before people started messing with them for these new MEGA packs

I just made a very quick edit of Remember What I Told You to clean up the spoken (and lovely) middle part to show what the estate could have done. Personally, I would have released it exactly as is.

This speaks to a point that I rarely see discussed here, which is that shorter songs are okay. A 90 second song is not that uncommon these days, it’s just not pop radio friendly or conventional. I can see why the Estate would see that as going against intention, but these days anything is possible with structure.

Has anyone seen mjfrenzy? He'd know all the details for sure.

Long before AI was invented... another LEGEND here ;)

All the 'BAD' era outtakes are inferior to the songs that made that album.

The 'Blood On The Dance Floor' song was not completed during the 'Dangerous' era (Michael Jackson kept working on it in the following years).

'On The Line' and 'You Are Not Alone' could not coexist in the same album because they sound very similar.

Also, 'On The Line' sounds too mellifluous to make the generally aggressive 'HIStory' album.

Michael Jackson explained the reason to his close friend and spiritual advisor Rabbi Shmuley Boteach (in 2000-2001):

"I do love the power of mystery, I really do. I think it's very powerful … There's six doors, you can open any of these doors. But the fifth door, don't open it. Don't open the fifth door, no matter what ... I only do an album every five years. Other artists do an album every year and my albums outlast and outsell all the other artists. And people wait for it. There's like, you know, a whole pulse going on about this album" (Michael Jackson, The Michael Jackson Tapes)

^ Oh no, he seems to be still trapped in an inner monologue and in an eternal time loop.

If D.S. doesn't publish a book on Streetwalker and Price Of Fame, this mess can't be fixed...

Better make a 1 hour video to summon him with some tasty morsels to appease him as well 😄

You feed him with data, text, non-fiction books, scientific papers... not audio / video. 🧑‍🏫

Somehow I don't believe it really as Brian May wanted to release all three collaborations back in 2012 but was rejected by The Estate, him claiming that the song is just mumbling doesn't make therefore much sense
I see what you mean, but it's also possible he wanted the demos out there just because it's cool to have a collab with Michael Jackson.

Unless Queen reworked it and added new verses.
Or it can also be released as a basic unfinished "demo".

I haven't seen any lossless files that are legit from these recent leaks. Just converted to WAV. The Neverland Landing one is a restoration it seems.

The Streetwalker one is legit but pretty sure that's been out there for a bit now. Same with TYLA.
We actually got two legit lossless files out of these wave of leaks.

TYLA (thanks arisenow...)
And...... Garbage.

Amazing

I can be fed with audio/video :D

I'll get u in a video call with J&J. Motif: "Neverland Never Landing With The Fans". In some rare cases the call forwarding may get you to his answering machine though. I heard it's currently this one:
"(Boy, no) And you ain’t got a place for me to stay
(Boy, no) And they ain’t got a place for me to stay"

That ain't my fault though.

Aren't you MJJC's official library manager? If so, please make sure mjfrenzy always gets the right info. :coffee:

Quiet in the library

Any collectors have any idea if a full original version of the Another Day that DJ Thucky and Kells had, is actually in the hands of people, and not lost media?

With AI couldnt we just extract the bits that are different and remove the DJ tags? And make a new mix based on this / the album version?
