The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

It's crazy to me out of everything we've gotten, Dark Lady has had nothing apart from that ultra short snippet. That's the one for me ahead of any others.
Dark Lady is exactly what i used to envision this era MJ to sound like (before all the leaks occured). i absolutely need that one to leak in HQ, it sounds like a 2000s club banger. do we know if anyone aside from zx1 has it?

You never really know, those songs were written 18 years ago so they might sound dated nowadays, and they could feel it's necessary to "contemporize" them.
Why does the age of a song matter? Anything getting altered isn't an authentic MJ song anymore.

If it's just a few touches I don't think I'd mind, but if it's a full remix with a production that almost completely differs from the version Michael worked on it's pretty much gonna kill my excitement lol.
You can bet they'd choose the latter.

It's usual MJ style to "trial & error" the vocal melody with whatever came to his mind.

There's a WIP mix of BOTDF where MJ suddenly spat out of nowhere one or two lines from Sunset Driver.

Yes you are right, it just feels a bit 'off' that the vocal melody of this session of coming up with new stuff is supposed to be from a track he just finished..

So what do we think about this? o_O

'Great to see! I wondered, is it true that Michael was working on a whole album with Barry Gibb? If so, have you listened to anything, apart from 'All in Your Name'?'

'Yes he was. Heard bits but was boring listening to it! And it was 2003 so a long time ago. A album is finished including Maurice Gibb but I believe it's stuck in legals. Michael did one with Freddie Mercury too but his ex don't want it released at this time'

Matt Fiddes was MJs umbrella carrier for a weekend and has made a career lying about it ever since even telling local papers he got MJ to perform a full concert in a tiny town in England

If he said the sky is blue I'd have to go outside and check.

Yeah.. would be amazing though an album with both Barry and Maurice Gibb omg..(and an album with Freddie Mercury?)

Did someone from the MJ media ever critically interviewed him about his claims..?

knowing Michael's shoddy pattern of recording full vocals I find it really hard to believe. Seconding Dam's testimony about Fiddles, sounds like yet another lie from an attention-seeker.

At 6:33 - very brief but new footage of Michael performing “Heard it Through the Grapevine” with Will Vinton.
Once again the footage is courtesy of Claymation Kid; I asked him a while back if the original footage still exists (so we can see if Michael recorded the song himself) but never received a reply
Man i wanna see that footage in full so badly!

Maurice Gibb died in January 2003 so I'd be very interested in his contributions post death.

Motion to declare Fiddes an absolute spoofer and to no longer see any comments of his regarding MJs work.

Yeah, it's been pointed out various times that he's a liar and he keeps getting posted.

I can believe 1-3 songs but a whole album? Nah

As compared to Teddy who has a flawless track record.

Literally who in MJ’s career isn’t slightly Koo-Koo? Rodney Jerkins actually. He’s chill. Jam and Lewis also. And good ol’ Bruce. Bills alright too.
Don't forget that Rodney was part of that fake tribute album. Not sure how involved he was but we haven't got a statement either.

An "album" with Freddie. Guy is most likely calling what we already know about an album--extrapolating from the few songs we have. The Gibb stuff I don't know, but the idea itself does sound boring. Their collab wasn't great to begin with. It's likely there may be another song--two at most--that exist, but the rest would just be instrumentals. I'm willing to bet money on him being an unreliable narrator.

Sounds real. If it is, I don't understand how these different new snippets keep leaking. Is somone constantly just sharing tiny snippets with folks?

Seems like a waste allowing these tiny snippets to keep leaking. Why not leak the whole thing?

Same with Rocker... which I'd like to have for my workout list. That stuff is powerfull.

Well that just goes along with what I said lol. There’s no need. There’s merely a desire, modernize it to make a pop hit.

I don’t think they’d give Jaafar songs straight from 2008 and call it a day yeah.

That whole leak is fake

That wasn’t a scummy thing, it was just random. It’s not fake either, the estate just didn’t sign off on it. We all love them for their generosity.
Well Paddy Dunning was lying about multiple things, he said BTS was part of it but they later denied that. And the WEB 3.0/NFT marketing doesn't make it anymore credible. The album most likely is a fake/fraud. But yeah Rodney probably didn't know anything about that and was just asked to work on some music.

I’m very curious what he worked on. Was he given legit tracks that Paddy might have made secret copies of? Tracks with demo vocals on them? I don’t think he would’ve signed on with nothing on hand.

As long as they put out the originals as well, I really don’t care all THAT much about how much they rework the tracks.
