I heard the name bad bunny first time a week ago.

Rolling Stone has no clue.

And how are you supposed to make this ranking anyway? Show quality considering the possibilites of the time? Just the performance itself? The message? Everything trough the lens of 2026?
There is no way Michael should not at least be top 5.

They ranked Katy Perry and even JLo and Shakira ahead of of MJ.

I’ll tell you what, MJ’s might not be the greatest and looks quite tame compared to the extravagant ones these days.

It’s still up there as the original and most iconic in my opinion, especially the toaster entrance.

If MJ had lived, he could have done another halftime show with modern tech and big production. It would have been epic

Hopefully. But if yes it needs to be announced as soon as possible to counteract the 'its just a whitewash' opinions/media reports (if they are only mentioned in part 2)
If it is succesful enough to justify a second film I think they will want to announce it as soon as they can, yeah.

What do you all think will be the intro song?

There’s so many to choose from, would love something like the Human Nature or Rock with you instrumental but I have a feeling they may use one of the early tracks like Ben or I’ll be there.

I want you back is probably the obvious as it was the first number one but that’s a bit bland and overplayed.

I doubt they would play big boy.

^^ that’s literally perfect btw

I think they'd use BR formula and the movie will begin with the first minute of the Superbowl show: Michael is preparing, jump, his stillness for a minute with everyone going absolutely crazy... Then right before he begins to dance there's a sudden change of the scene and we're seeing little Michael working really hard with Joe screaming at his sons.

Bad Tour Wembley is more likely instead of Super Bowl. I think the shot of him backstage in Bad outfit starts the movie.

It absolutely needs to be part of the potential part 2, if its not possible in 1. Otherwise it might be nice for us as fans, but will not be taken seriously.
Best case scenario would have been to include everything in one 3.5 hour movie anyway. No casual or non fan will watch a part 2.

Who knows, maybe they just restructured it for 2 parts because they think it will earn more in total than 1 film.

I think Part 2 can be a big success if this is.

I'm very suprised they haven't made Bohemian Rhapsody 2 yet. A movie telling Freddie Mercury's final years starring Rami Malek sounds like a big money maker and Oscar winner to me.

So Rolling Stone Magazine put Bad Bunny halftime show at number 2 in their greatest Super Bowl show performance……

Michael was number 16 🥴 they really do hate him.
I read two articles in German media out of interest for bad bunnies show. Both referenced how Michael Jackson's halftime show transformed the event from a gap filler to a massive cultural event with more instead of less viewers than during matchtime.
When he is not the main topic, media sometimes even happen to report true factual matters...
