The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I can only speak from my experience (I'm the one that shared the snippet), but none of the people involved in selling music would go near it. A "group buy" has to have a "host". Absolutely no one would host lol.

My short lived experience into the unreleased song world.. not a place I liked very much. Still chuckle at the "lollzz its fake" comments I got a lot of.
I’ve said for a while I don’t get why the people who do material don’t do more GBs.

Yes, I remember. But how is it that the person did share a long snippet, if it wasn't for selling?

This year so many artists have dropped that rarely do, I think even the Estate will see the writing on the Wall and release a song or two.

Seven Digits (Long Snippet)

Here's where the snippet comes from:

Is there anyone here who speaks German and is able to give a recap of the video and tell if there's any new info? The auto-generated subtitles isn't enabled in this video.

The guy gave me the snippet (wasn't it only like 7 seconds?) to prove it was really MJ etc. To go any further with the sale etc it was a total no go.

I'm still not the biggest fan of the "7 Digits" but I can't stop listening to it, it's so damn funky. I couldn't give a single shit about listening to 99% of Bryan Loren's outtakes but "Call It Off" is one song of his I've been wanting to hear, I hope at least a snippet of the hook ends up leaking someday.

Random pick but I wouldn't mind listening to "It" either, one of these days I was listening to Bryan Loren's episode on the MJCast and at one point he claimed that "Morphine" was based on that track so I wanna see if there's any truth to that lol

so nearly 2mins of "7 Digits" leaked. wow!

this should have been on BOTDF, in a finished state with full lyrics/vocals.

7 Digits has *potential* to be quite good.

If I’m not mistaken, it was established by Mike Smallcombe (and possibly others) that the vocals aren’t complete whatsoever and this first version is indicative of everything that exists.

Scratch vocal with some lyrical content. 7 Digits is essentially a jam session

I'm digging it. Song def. Had potential flow and melody wise. Wish he continued creating it.

Man, have gotten so much material all these years showing how Michael is actually "composing" his music... One day, someone should make a full blown documentary on Michael's way of creating music and melodies. He didnt need to sit doen and play the piano or the guitar. He had his own ways

From last years auction

7 Digits (15:53) - Early writing session version - (Never heard. Never leaked). Song is on both sides of the cassette. Side B is a continuation of Side A. This is the first version of 7 Digits. MJ is writing the song as he sings on this, so there are several takes of the song with MJ playing with lyrical ideas. He hadn't come up with the theme of “7 Digits" yet on these early takes. But, the music is the same as his final “7 Digits" song. In between takes, MJ is talking to Bryan in the studio directing him on music ideas.

Final doesn’t mean finished, to be fair. Every other song on the action is clearly listed as “MJ singing lead on the whole song,” whereas this isn’t.
