The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Remember What I Told You is so great
I think it became one of my favorite MJ songs ever... Its a shame he never finished it...
This song is the perfect answer to people saying "MJ couldn't sing in the 2000's, his voice was gone" or "His music in the 2000's was trash". I know people who said that, I sent them the song, they were like "Well, maybe you were right after all"

Yea but he sounds slightly under the influence in Remember What I Told You

I really love this song too. I would have loved listening to the full and complete song

That's one of the final era songs I've been wanting to hear the most, based on Damien's description (I'm not convinced Talitha was talking about D.I.E since the song is from before 2009 and multiple sources have stated the song has no recorded vocals) it sounds like it could be MJ's darkest song yet. I always imagined it sounding like a mixture of "Adore You" and "Monster".
who knows? there could very well be a scratch vocal version of D.I.E out there

I am/Was The Loser definitely deserves a proper release. In my honest opinion that’s every bit the good ballad as Dream Away.
I heard that Michael’s vocals were auto-tuned (by Brad Buxer, I think)... And the song itself... well, it’s somewhere on the level of Don't Walk Away or One More Chance. So I’d say it’s not the best choice for an official release by the Estate. But as a track on a hypothetical posthumous album, I wouldn't mind seeing it there

If so, it would make it one of the last songs recorded by MJ in 2009, assuming there were no vocals in 2008
I’ve been wondering, is there at least one song that Michael fully recorded in 2009? As far as I remember, among the last songs he completed, there was only Best of Joy, but I think he recorded that one in late 2008

Well we don't have any proof of existence for a song from 2009 with complete vocals... But it could be possible.
I read somewhere that Michael Prince said that MJ re-recorded WBSS and Stranger In Moscow for the TII shows, but that's all for vocals recorded in 2009 afaik

id love to have any song with MJ on a synth focused or a RedOne-like 2000s beat lol. hope the RedOne or Neff-U stuff we haven't heard yet is just that cause i haven't really been that much into Buxer's style of production from that period

According to Michael Prince, MJ did a little bit of vocal recording throughout 2009, but nothing substantial. (I’ve heard “Water” may have been recorded in the Carolwood pool house in early 2009, but I can’t confirm.) The October/November 2008 sessions were the last time he recorded full vocals for anything.

Random question, but can someone confirm if the vocals from Michael in Changes are the same ones from the Bad version? The tracker and iirc the wiki says that the choir was only an overdub

"Water" was recorded in 2008, Zx1 uploaded a video in which he gave the date of the mixes of songs he leaked and some of them matches the dates from official sources. From memory they were:

Boy No: 2008/2010
Dark Lady: 2008/2009
Adore You: 2004/2005
Changes: 1995/2009
Water: 2008/2009

Am I right that 2002, 2005, and 2009 are the only years when Michael didn't record a single song in full?
