The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Btw just wondering, is this video how the 1986 demo is supposed to sound? Because I always wondered if the original leak of that demo was the legit speed of the demo or if it was tampered with.
If someone could make a mix of Korg's 2020 redux with the more fleshed verse vocals from the B25 version, I'd think that would be the definitive version of DBMR from what we have of it rn. I tried to make it myself but I'm not the best at layering/filtering vocals. Maybe @Beano Wild?

I believe it's just exaggerated by Reid. More likely Bruce has fired up a fresh 24 track tape for vox only; MJ did several vocals runs and later comp'ed from those.
They also had digital 32-track recorders (Mitsubishi) so it is still possible Michael did as many as 24 passes on a slave 32-track reel and comped down for the main master.

we really need a fully fixed version of the streetwalker demo on youtube. the pitch and speed need fixed lol

DBMR is a good listen for what it's worth but I'd love to hear the Thriller version, if it exists. It doesn't really sound like anything in his catalog so I'm not sure where it would fit. If it was complete lyrically, maybe a b-side

I think the instrumental on the first one is a recreation but the vocals appear to be legit
This is a nice R&B song. It actually has hit potential. If this was post-Invincible, probably one of the best cuts from that era I've heard so far. Who helped produce this song?
