The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Btw just wondering, is this video how the 1986 demo is supposed to sound? Because I always wondered if the original leak of that demo was the legit speed of the demo or if it was tampered with.
If someone could make a mix of Korg's 2020 redux with the more fleshed verse vocals from the B25 version, I'd think that would be the definitive version of DBMR from what we have of it rn. I tried to make it myself but I'm not the best at layering/filtering vocals. Maybe @Beano Wild?

I honestly can not see what Michael saw in Dont Be Messin Around, it truely boggles my mind. He seemed to have worked alot on the track

I really like Don't Be Messin' Round, there's nothing like it in Michael's discography, it's truly unique.

I hope there's a more complete version of the song in the vault, but I hope it keeps the carefree essence of the Bad 25 version
nah it feels like a signature Michael song to me, doesn't feel any different

I believe it's just exaggerated by Reid. More likely Bruce has fired up a fresh 24 track tape for vox only; MJ did several vocals runs and later comp'ed from those.
They also had digital 32-track recorders (Mitsubishi) so it is still possible Michael did as many as 24 passes on a slave 32-track reel and comped down for the main master.
