"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

After watching the latest trailer again, I'm more certain the film will feature Shake Your Body Dodgers Stadium were Mike announces this is their last show.

They have Jaafar dressed in the same jacket. I doubt the biopic is going to feature Billie Jean 4 times (writing, Motown 25, Pepsi burn incident and Victory Tour) so it's safe to assume it's Shake Your Body.

I still believe the film will finish before the Bad era begins. The Dodgers Stadium show looks like it's going to close the biopic given that the majority of the live performances we've seen seem to come from that show, Bad at Wembley and Motown 25.

I think Bad starts the biopic, Shake Your Body "it's been a long 20 years" speech closes it.
I'm still by my prediction I made a few months back

you don't have the numbers ?( lottery)!!

Whats the story line for neutrals tbh? "The Jackson brand is like Coca Cola and we need to exploit it" and that MJ wants to break out from The Jacksons is not exactly bomb shells that will inspire non-fans to watch the movie. I find any scene where MJ is interacting with animals or anything in his personal life to be much more interesting than a lookalike miming to his songs. (no offense to Jafaar)

To me I had hoped there would be something more to the trailers than - even if its more in the movie they have failed to highlight it to the masses!

I realize there is a part 2 that could cover more of that but still...

Maybe they are keeping the most importants events for the film and also not to spoil the movie too much

Yeah, the TV spots showing the horrors of Joe are far more interesting than the short film remake ones. Not sure why they didn't lean into that much.

The Motown 25 scene that we’ve seen so far , it’s not blown me away and this is a fear that I have for the film.

It’s the behind the scene stuff that will be most interesting to us fans,

Guys, there's a small clip online of one of the songs being performed. I'm not going to say more other than to post so you can be aware / try to avoid, if you want.

So the reason why they replaced MJs "I need to think" in the trailer with a more frightened take is because they wanted to intensify their relationship

the way they have seemingly been stingy with what they have shown so far in trailers and promotional ads, along with different takes of the same clips is very intriguing to me. this Billie Jean clip as well, It cuts immediately to Michael climbing on a car when actually it's supposed to be followed by that scene of Katherine and others complimenting him post performance. that's why I don't necessarily buy that what we have been shown in the trailers the most is what we'll get.

Possibly, but if you hide the main concept what its about only the hardcore fans will go and see it which would be a waste IMO :)

They could have showed glimpses of what to expect without spoiling it, I mean real MJ fans knows Michaels life and what stuff that could be in there. Neutrals would have to be swayed that this an interesting film! Kind of like, "oh I did not know this about MJ, I am intrigued to see what really happened".

This is not criticism of the actual film btw as I have not seen it

let's also remember that even the usual anti MJ media personalities on twitter mentioned how preview screenings reported an excellent performance from Jaafar and Domingo. I believe that.

Official MICHAEL products available in the Facebook store starting tomorrow.

In one of the biopic scenes, Jaafar and Prince’s girlfriends (Maddie Simpson and Molly Schirmang) appear as extras applauding.
A small hidden detail in the latest trailer

Now what if they break up.... they'll forever see em lmao

The promo has certainly cranked up. In my home city in England, I've seen a poster printed on a couple of buses, and I've seen two TV Adverts :D
I live in a small UK town and felt a bit "left out" from the hype... Went to Bristol for work today and saw Michael EVERYWHERE! Absolutely phenomenal!
