Everything Michael had to go through was only shown in little glimpses... Joe beating him, calling him out about his nose, vitiligo, being lonely etc. was displayed but I didn't really feel the pain these things caused Michael. That's why I wrote: some silent moments/inner dialogue would have emphasized these topics way, way more. Also, more details... imagine, only filming his eyes, filled with tears for some seconds when he is sad about something, combined with a voiceover where he's talking about his feelings, almost crying, stuff like that...

When I hear Michael talk in interviews about his suffering, it almost takes my breath away, I didn't really have that in the movie.

That's one thing...and of course, like other members have said that everyone has his/her flaws and they didn't really show them.

And also, the whole Hollywood/being famous - circus...in reality it's only beautiful on the outside, you have to sacrifice your freedom when you're famous, which will destroy most people. They could have emphasized more, how impossible it was for him to go outside and be a "normal" human being. The shopping scene with the autographs was very...relaxed.

That's what I felt...have to watch it again... 😅

Ah, I see. Yeah, I kinda get that those things could be what she's (Paris) is referring to, but again, if I were her, I wouldn't have been so ambiguous in my statement.

I think we all know Motown was kinda toxic and I'm sure he went through a lot (and he was a cutthroat businessman) to get to the top... but I like that it showed him as the childlike, caring person that (I believe) he was

I would definitely want Suzanne de Passe in part 2...her screen time in part 1 is just too fleeting ..she deserves more! ..

It would be nice, but I think the reaction on charts in the public is worth so much more than that. Freddie and Queen didn't have a large section of the population question whether they were a dark criminal - yet look at what MJ's name and music has caused in 2026 after what happened 7 years ago.

I believe that this is one of the biggest wins of his story. With everything against him, he pulled this off.

Mj deserves a monument for everything he accomplished, despite all the vultures working against him and his health issues on top.

Wow, probably superbowl.
But stay tuned basically means 2 years of staying tuned...

Directors cut unlikely imo, they will save everything for part 2.

Or is it just general Dangerous Album atmos mix? Is this one out yet?
