It was directed at me. In place of an answer:Sorry. Wasn’t really aimed at you, but the person you were responding to. I was just too lazy to go back and find their original post![]()
(This is not meant to diminish any mind blowing numbers!).
Disclaimer, I am purely curious and interested in stats, not trying to diminish any success
Sorry, I wrote that disclaimer in every post but still my questions are misunderstood.
I DO NOT doubt that this is massive.
I DO appreciate what's happening! Micheal would say "i really do"
Let me just repeat this:Asking does not equal questioning. For anyone who is willing to share, we can learn a lot from each other on this forum
Let's please all take a deep breath, try to get some sleep, and remember that we are here as fans, all of us.![]()
These 5 songs are all written and composed solely by MJ.Most people streaming these songs surely don't know that. But instinctively, they want to listen to these songs first

I don't think so, but he would be closeTogether with the group figures. Would Michael be in top 5?

Thank you so much for this insight! That was all I was asking for.iTunes is mostly for people above a certain age, the younger generations don't buy digital songs anymore.
Spotify is the most popular streaming platform around so it's the most representative of what the mainstream actually listens to.
Apple music is the second one in popularity compared to Spotify but it's mostly used by people who use iPhones so it's not as representative of the mainstream as Spotify is.
Thank you so much for this insight! That was all I was asking for.
Great. Michael will have a top 10 single in the UK in 2026.uk midweeks ( singles):
Billie Jean ( 4)( 18,880)
beat it ( 13)
don't stop t'ill you get enough ( 15)
( albums):
the essential ( 2)( 16,881).
Just for interpretation. Like we share the spotify data here mostly, because they provide nice statistics, so I wondered how representative they are for the streaming market. And if that contains any information if younger or older people might listen more or the like. This is a genuine question, honestly.
To help me understand why you wanted to know, now you have an answer, can you tell me what it means?
Thank you in advance![]()
