It does indeed look like it's actually written "Bang". I don't know if these handwritten lyrics are legit, but most probably?
Mike is clearly not singing "bang" however. He is clearly singing a word starting with "D". But his lyrics says "bang" - and I think a Saturday Bang might be like going to a party or a nightclub or something similar to this. I don't think Mike means a literal Saturday ****, knowing him well enough.
The "d" sounds like "date", which also could make the most sense as well
I've actually always heard it as a Saturday Bang - and that's what I've been singing for the last 20 years. - without having a single clue what a Saturday Bang is...
I always imagined a Saturday Bang was just a party. - Party on a Saturday seems reasonable, and a great party can be a bang, so why not go to a Saturday Bang.
Inventing words or using words in some context is something MJ has often done just because it flows better.
I too think it is bang and used to refer to a party, if you're naughty you could see it as a Saturday sex night with a girl but that would not really fit the theme of the song
