Originally, there were only some snippets available of this interview on the Internet. But now, the full interview with some extra clips is available for viewing. Enjoy!

In this video, Michael and his then business partner at the time discuss business plans, including one for a new theme park (that unfortunately, never came to fruition).

No wonder Mike didn't give interviews, he's always treated like an alien you could observe in a zoo. It's no wonder he felt a connection to the film The Elephant Man.

If I were lucky enough to sit with the biggest selling artist in history, I'd at least give him the respect he deserves as a human being first and foremost

Great footage, the video quality makes it look so old though especially for being as late as 1998.
Probably because it was recorded onto VHS from the television and may have degraded over time, as VHS tapes do.

There's also some snippets from the Barbara Walters interview in 1997 (specifically the part where she asks if he's expecting another child) that are in even worse quality. As good as having recording technology at that time was, it unfortunately still had its own setbacks.

I've never been the biggest fan of Michael doing interviews. I know he didn't do much anyway and whenever he did, it's clear he was very shy throughout.

They can come across as a bit painful at times to watch , this one for example, I just want Michael to speak loud and clear and command the room like he does during his shows.

He was usually always soft spoken but his voice was so weak at times, the frightened little boy etc, not sure if this was his intention or to maintain the mystery image.

I don't get what she was trying to imply with the question that got the interview shut down. Because I'm getting certain vibes...
"Have you guys known each other for a long time? 😃☺️"

The way she asked that gives off the same vibe as when your parents ask questions about your new boyfriend/girlfriend. 😭 And we already know Michael wasn't gay or even bisexual. No wonder he seemed so uncomfortable.

But who knows?? Hopefully, she wasn't trying to make false implications on Michael.

at least she said it in a somewhat sweet manner. Unlike other interviewers
She's definitely no Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, or Martin Bashir. But I can still sense Michael's lack of comfort. He lacked comfort with interviews in general.

It's nice to uncover some once-lost footage though. ✨
