Also, the tracks will all end up leaking anyway, whether it is next week or in 10/20 years, so why waste our money on it ? And there seems to be so much drama in the collectors community with the regular "he leaked all my snippets !" outbursts.
Maybe if the collectors scene behaved less like drama queens there wouldn't be so many leaks but the way things are now, everything will just end up leaking anyway whether you're happy about it or not and no matter what we say or do will change anything.

well of course, we still can't be shitting on them as a community tho because they simply just have things in their possession that they personally like to admire. it's obviously their right to keep the material that they buy. now yes i agree gatekeeping is annoying but i feel like everyone should be treated with respect especially if a collector has a song that is VERY RARE they honestly might just give the song to the community one day. it's just ultimately up to them not us. only time will tell at this point.
 
also i'm pretty sure no-one in the community atm has innocent man in full. unfortunately. although it does sound very unfinished.

Has anyone asked Damien or Bill about the (OTHER) Alternate Mix of Streetwalker '88 where Bill apparently replaced the drums with trash can sounds?
 
Also I remember that people used to say that the version of PoF released on B25 wasn't the final version, and that there is a more developed one that's still unheard, anyone know anything about this?

there's no trash can version of SW. Trash can on Bill's Hayvenhurst sessions list is just some groove.

I do have calendars for Dangerous.
Trash Can Song and Scream o Blaster are probably just making grooves for possible use. "African Groove" was a more finished song idea I put together while MJ was away and I had time alone. No vocals were ever tried.
 
I wrote the music to "Dangerous" while fiddling around with "Streetwalker". MJ was on tour for Bad, I was working alone at Smoketree. I did much fooling around with midi sounds and samples. It was probably 1988. What was the little E-mu box? I cut lots of versions including one nobody's ever heard, consisting of samples of me playing brushes on a galvanized trash can, in place of all the drums and perc.
I quite liked them all, but "Igno-Dangerous" was my favourite.
I never felt competition with Teddy, and when MJ suggestied Teddy do a version, I had no problem.. Hey, it's all about the writing.
Teddy's version rocks and sounds like the 90's, where mine was stuck in the 80's.
Everything was in devine order.
When prince Abdulla of Bahrain played me my old epic demo, I about fell over. I hadn't heard it in 17 years!
Did they credit me?
Now I wanna go find the trash can version.

Hot Fever is the early title for The Way You Make Me Feel

and there's nothing else to it it's just TWYMMF but with a different title lmao. it's apparently almost identical to what was released

so no this is fake

oh so ig it's just the same song but a early demo version with alternate lyrics but same melody.
 
Im assuming that the HF snippet is fake since James said that Bad era songs leaking was highly unlikely
