The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Lord Jackson didn't gatekeep anything, in fact he even bans people in his server for that lol

Important detail: there two laptops, we only got one.
Someone got a copy of the other, and that’s where everything’s been coming from.

Brad was smart enough however to start bringing only what he wants to show, and because of that not everything he has will leak.

Victory related part starts at 25:14 minutes.

That’s a very nice find! Btw, Thriller being ā€œmassively influencedā€ by HotSpace as claimed by the interviewer and the fact that Thriller wouldn’t perhaps exist without hot space..

Come one now lol.

I’m happy that he cleared up that stupid Llama rumor and indirectly the other rumors such as MJ catching Freddie with a bag of coke, Freddie having an orgy in the studio and MJ being so weird and odd that Freddie had to make an escape haha.

Too bad the random 88 SBD he's got will never see the light of day.

So my theory is semi correct? Someone probably has songs like Dreams Away?

wouldn't it be possible for brad to have a copy of DA if c1945 was on a laptop?
Anything is possible- we didn't expect Brad to have C1945, but we know C1945 was played at a Brad seminar years ago, at Westlake I believe.

I feel lf Brad had it, it would've probably been in the same place as C1945, anything is possible atp tho

A concert? Which one?

Another Dr. Freeze demo has been found, this one was made in 2004.
And it slaps, man. Love how it reuses the hook from "Get On The Floor" which to me is one of my favorite songs from "Off The Wall". Seeing Michael do this kind of throwback in the 2000's would've been so cool.
Love Freeze, but MJ re-using a full chorus would’ve gotten him eaten alive (and imo is insanely lazy in any capacity). I love a throwback but this would’ve incited endless comments that amounted to, ā€œThis just reminds you how bad his new music is and how good his old music is.ā€

Agreed. Re-using a full chorus feels lazy and I doubt Michael would've recorded that.

I'm thinking about both leaked tracks from that Freddie session.

Both demos, SoS & Tmbmtltt, were supposedly sourced from Brian May - which would mean they're day-mixes made by Brent Averill and given to Freddie.

So to this day, we haven't heard the Bottrell mix of SoS MJ was fond of.šŸ¤”

This is what Bill wrote in the past on X on his mixing of SoS:

State of Shock was brought to me in 1984. It was a rave-up of amazing energy from Freddie and Michael.
I was disappointed when I heard the Mick version, obviously because Mick was on the same label.

MJ told me David Williams played guitar at Hayvenhurst on the Freddy version.

****

I'm gonna keep repeating this and then stop.

Between BAD/hayvenhurst and Dangerous there must be 20 or so 4-hr sessions I did to "see what I could do with it" These came from diverse places and people.

Think of "State of Shock" for instance. I was able to "find the best essence" of the home demo, and MJ was able to hear how to proceed with it.

The demo always sounded way better in every way to me. MJ and Freddie's voices meshed perfectly, the looser/rougher production suited the style and lyrics. It sounds like a much "bigger" song to me.

Yes definitely!

Somehow I think that the solo version of the 'There must Be More..' demo could have been a huge 'Christmas' hit.. It has some 'Imagine' qualities with that piano and MJ's haunting voice imho..

I always did suspected that the other laptop was involved. Because how else could MIB, TYLA, and Streetwalker 1987 possibly leak? The only other people with those songs outside of Brad are producers. And those are all songs we know for certain that Brad has played. And we know that Brad also has "Turnin Me Off" at least because of the DAT.

There could be more sources though. Look at Rocker and Water HQ snippets from Damien Shields for instance

They aren’t from the laptop.
They all were on Tapes collectors had.
