The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I experienced the same thing when I tried to edit Stranger in Moscow with a Brad Buxer co-writing credit, citing his MJCast interview. They removed that saying only Michael’s officially credited.

But bear in mind that’s a whole other debate since Brad’s story has changed a bit on about how that came to be. And whether Michael was involved in the Sonic game
As they should have. I glad Wikipedia blocked your edit.

Brads claim has no credibility, it's simply his words. Words that were first said after Michael died and could not respond. Brads claims can never be proven and because of that, presumption of innocence (regarding the claim Michael stole his work) should be upheld.

The Wikipedia page should reflect what is in the legal record.

If Brad 's claim is true he should have corrected the legal record when he had the chance, which was the 15 years Michael was alive and could have responded.

He chose not to do that so oh well. He has no one to blame but himself.

I feel like I’ve seen you clap back against this multiple times in the past. I agree that the Wikipedia page should only reflect the official record (though Buxer’s claims should absolutely be mentioned somewhere on the page, as it is now part of the historical record of the song).

Brad has made one co-author claim in the entirety of his time with MJ, who is known for taking undeserved credit for songs. Not saying Brad is automatically right, but the idea that we shouldn’t believe him because he never said anything when he was alive is ridiculous.

I really like “Innocent Man” as well. The arrangement reminds me of "Stranger in Moscow," and the background vocals have a similar layering to "Family Thing." While the song is upbeat, it also carries a somber and serious undertone. I wouldn't describe it as uplifting compared to something like "Beautiful Girl," for example.
Where can I listen to the innocent man? I wasn't aware that any recording of it existed.

as someone whose favorite song overall used to be LNFSG back in the day i rn definitely agree its not my fav out of the three. i actually think i like TII the most. cool lyrics, the music is very nice, feels somewhat special

Since I am so negative about the remixes: I do think 'Love Never Felt So Good' worked very well as a disco song!!
(although if it was done on Quincy level it could have been 'Rock With You-' good imho)

Something to keep an eye on: an in-house CD-R compilation featuring tracks engineered by Eddie DeLena.

According to MJJRecords, it features an alternate version of Ghosts with "instruments that are not on the BOTDF album, and a different ending." I wonder whether it's identical to the version that appears in the early version of the film. Additionally, the disc features a track called "Re-Mix (Film Cue)", which samples HIStory.

Oooh shit, Ghosts with bass? That would be awesome

Worth asking the original poster?

The heck is “You Know We Know”?

Is it a demo of “U Know” and “You’ll Know”?

Bottom line: if anyone gets their hands on something they shouldn’t have, it will leak eventually.
Alright I apologize for my hostility, but besides you, does anyone else have songs like Turning Me Off, World of Candy, Neverland Landing, etc (don’t name names, just asking if there more than 1 person that has them)

Speaking of Wikipedia, I have slowly but surely been adding and removing information of songs on the unreleased songs page on Wikipedia, with permission from Wikipedia mods. I have edited every song (whether it be grammar mistakes or adding new information) up to Starlight (1994). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unreleased_songs_recorded_by_Michael_Jackson?wprov=sfti1#Songs

So I can't find the exact source again but Matt Fiddes talked about Michael recording an album with Barry Gibb, from which only 'All In Your Name' is yet known.

Ideas about this..?

Matt Fiddes was MJs umbrella holder for a weekend who staged a fake concert + has held onto that weekend for 20+ years now. Nothing he says is backed by experience.

You got a point, lol. Anyway is there more to this claim, first time I hear this and it would be awesome

More likely than not, Motif has heard the songs, but he is not in possession of said songs. Though I could always be wrong. Also, yes, more people have them.
