What video games did Michael Jackson like?

I don't think he was a Sonic fan. The picture of him playing Sonic 2 is just from one of his visits to Sega's headquarters in Japan. He got along with the company, and Sonic is Sega's mascot, so he took those photos. He also worked on music for Sonic 3 (he actually backed out early on for whatever reason), but that doesn't mean he was a fan.

I don't think he would agree to do music for a game if he wasn't a fan.

true, Sega was only business
Seems like he was more a Nintendo fan:
MJ in 1996: I love a good waterballoon fight. (...) Nintendo games, Arcades.

MJ and his Nintendo 64 in 1997:

Sega commissions musicians to make music for their games all the time. Silly to think each and every one of them are actual fans of the games. It's just a business move.

Sega made the Moonwalker games. MJ was only returning the favor when he agreed to make music for another game Sega was making. "You make games for me, I make music for you".

I don't think an artist as big as Michael would want to make music for a game if he wasn't a fan. It would have been a big commitment and his name would have been attached to it forever. Its not hard to imagine that he would like playing Sonic

Allegedly he wanted to be uncredited.
