The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

"Adore You" needs to be leaked already man, it's pointless that it's still being gatekept when we practically heard the entire song by this point. Same goes for songs like "Water", "Changes", or any unfinished song that's basically a loop of what's already been leaked, what kind of value could they possibly have?
That's not really the issue, these tracks always get passed around with a "I trust you, just don't share them with anyone" kind of thing.

If they got leaked, that trust would be gone, and they wouldn't be getting any more tracks in the future.

the gatekeeping is probably the worst part about this community
man i just wanna hear some cool songs💔release all of them already god damn
Unfortunately unreleased songs are still worth a lot of money. Nobody would really just leak them out for free, not for a while. Hell, if I had an unreleased song, I would ask money for it, less than a thousand though lol

I agree, Adore You and Water should've been leaked by now. Same goes for Innocent Man.

Changes has a loop yes but the melody changes, adore you gets more interesting with key changes and the choir gets hype, water u could probably make with the hq

Leakers arguing in this thread is so, so funny.

Nobody cares about your little community and its petty squabbles. You aren't celebrities.

You'd be looked on a lot more favourably on this site - and by the whole MJ fandom - if you'd just release the songs that you claim to have access to...
Sounds like you care

I think the leakers argueing is the main reason these songs never get leaked tbh.
That, and the monetary value of the tracks. If the tracks leak, then they become essentially worthless. A considerable amount of collectors believe that they can make serious coin off the songs. What they don't know is that the tracks are already worthless. Especially the ones without Michael's vocals/instrumentals. The writers demo's have 0 involvement from MJ so what's the use in gatekeeping those?

I think collectors need to realize that no one is paying 5 figures for a half assed mumble demo, or a generic ass instrumental.
No unreleased song from any artist is worth more than a few hundred dollars at the very best. They simply take advantage of Michael's name, in the same way people took advantage of Michael during his life.

Exactly. See, if it was a fully complete outtake, then MAYBE i'd understand. But these are half assed gibberish demos. Some don't even have MJ vocals, some don't have ANY vocals at all. Water, Innocent Man, and Adore You are literally just choruses, Monster has a SINGLE LINE of lyrics. It actually pisses me off sometimes.

I'd say a Bad anniversary album is pretty much inevitable at this point, so I kinda hope Turning Me Off doesn't leak, it'd be nice to still have some surprises left.

TYLA
Turning Me Off
Tomboy
Make or Break
Crack Kills
…and a few other demos, that'd make for a really interesting CD2.
Or Turning Me Off will be on a soundtrack for the biopic. But I can see it being on the 40th anniversary for bad tbh.

What do you think could be done with it?
It has verses, and there are lyrics, not that much mumbling, but it's a scratch vocal, and the lyrics of the verses don't really make sense. But it does have lyrics. As it is now, idk if it could be released. Had MJ recorded a more complete vocal, it could be released with minimal change.
