The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

I noticed that whenever he plays a “real” snippet, the channel names are all different plays on Sven Nelson with the exact same number of subscribers. I did a quick search and I can’t find any such channels. It seems like he’s just using a screenshot of a YouTube page, swapping the names, and editing in the snippets himself.

The first “Neverland Landing” snippet is exactly what I heard years ago (“Rainbow skies and crystal streams”), so that’s 100% authentic. The bit of “Shut Up and Dance” also lines up with the other snippet we have. I’m gonna say it’s all real.
It's Znop. How does he have that many subs? What kind of stuff was he posting before deleting all his videos lol?

Ima ask here because I know nothing about this but does anyone know if there is a song called "Lifeless" from the Invincible era?
If so is there any details about it?

Man, that feeling you get when you wake up to new leaks is indescribable lol

Some of those are weird ones for sure, "Garbage" sounds like a test beat more than anything. How it even made it to the Dangerous tracklist is beyond me.

"World Of Candy" is kinda wacky but the composition sounds nice. There really isn't one Brad Buxer song that's bad, even his weakest songs are good. That man could slam his head into a keyboard and he'd still cook up a fire production.

Eric Kirkland sounds too much like Dr. Freeze on "Shut Up And Dance", if I didn't know any better I'd be so sure it's a Freeze demo lol. Judging by Motif's video I thought the song was boring and it repeated itself way too much but his vocals seems to bring the song to a level. I still think "I Love You More" is the better Kirkland demo that Michael should've picked instead though.

I knew the verses on "Rocker" were incomplete but damn I did not expect it to sound that rough lol. Definitely not a song that can be released as anything other than a rough demo.

"Turning Me Off" doesn't really do much for me, just sounds like generic, cheesy 80's rock music. Will wait to hear more before I form a solid opinion on it.

Don't have anything to say on "Time Marches On", but it is definite proof that collectors have more than what meets the eye. This wasn't even a song that was known before, right?

Turning Me Off doesn't have a full vocal then. Sounds like mumbling in the snippet to me.
That's what I thought too, maybe it's an early version of the song.

I've never seen this song. Where did you hear it?

Wow. "Time Marches On" sounds so NOT like Jam. I have always believed that it was only an instrumental with no vocals at all, so the fact that it features vocal bits from Michael is interesting to me.

"Garbage" sounds interesting to me. I have to admit I'd like to hear it in full and I can see why people think it inspired CLHGA, but I think that Loren overexaggerates its part in shaping the whole direction of the album (I've read that it also inspired the other Teddy-produced tracks; not sure whether that came from Loren or not).

I heard about that title from znop. Never heard the song itself. He said the track is complete. I'm really not sure if he was trolling or not.

Dude is straight up pulling info out of his ass by this point

I've been listening more to some of the snippets and I have to say that "Shut Up And Dance" sounds like a Bobby Brown song to an uncanny degree, "Every Little Step" is the closest my mind goes to.

"Neverland Landing" is starting to grow on me, I didn't think much of the song when the first snippet leaked but I'm seeing the vision here. Don't know how the Estate could release the song given it was meant for such a niche project but I still hope it sees the light of day somehow.

The chopped up vocals at the end of the "Time Marches On" snippet is catchy as all hell, I wonder how many vocals were recorded or if that's all the vocals there is for this song. @GYWOOM are you able to tell us about it's the state of completion?

I think it’s a sample. My guess is it’s from the Off The Wall album.

Put some respect on my name and for what saka said it seems like Rocker is a inspiration of Queen We Will Rock You by the way next time you tell me to put some stuff in my ass i would put my foot in you ass and by the way **** YOU !!

Idk why but "Shut up and Dance" reminds me of Blood on the Dance Floor. I think this and Jungle are the best "Writer's Demos".
Neverland Landing sounds very catchy and I really believe a modern production could take it to another level.
Rocker is a banger, it's a shame it wasn't finished.
World of Candy is really cheesy, I prefer "The Lost Children" over it.
Turning Me Off could be one of the first bad Bad outtakes. I don't see any potential to it.

You're all referring to 6 or 7 second clips of songs, yes?

Or has something leaked that I'm not aware of?

Yeah, I can see why Bill called it a "weird, unlikable little thing." It really does, indeed, turn me off. 😬

It’s just very weird yes, but for some reason I like it. Harmonies are nice, the production is just so strange. Maybe a remix could make it better. But I’ve been listening to it quite a lot lol, that says something.

World Of Candy is the worst MJ song I’ve ever heard, love it. Just kidding, can’t really say a lot about it, need to hear the “We’re so happy” part to make a judgement. For now it’s very shit.

Shut Up And Dance is so good! Very funky. MJ had writer’s credit on it so it’s a bit jarring MJ didn’t sing on it because he would’ve killed it. Those harmonies scream MJ. Eric killed it tho, great song.

Rocker, awesome but rough.

Neverland Landing is great, not much more to say about it.

Time Marches On is very funky. The guitar hits are dope. The beginning makes me think of intro of the DK rap from DK 64, which is funny lol.

Garbage is just very okay.

Neverland Landing - Peak. 10/10
Rocker - Exactly what I expected. 6.5/10
Garbage - Exactly what I expected. 5/10
Time Marches On - Funky, would've been great had it been an actual song. 7/10
World Of Candy - I heard like 4 seconds of MJ vocals since Znop kept talking, 5.5/10
Turnin Me Off - It's oddly catchy, doesn't sound nearly as bad as described, still kinda strange. 5.5/10
Shut Up and Dance - Yes. 10/10

“Turning Me Off” sounds a little too much like an ‘80s TV show theme for my liking, but the snippets are too fragmented for me to have a really firm opinion on it yet. This is my most wanted atm.

“Shut Up and Dance” sounds meh. Great beat, but the lyrics are a little corny. Like others said, it’s weird that a writers’ demo is being gate kept.

“Neverland Landing” is too Disney for me. It sounds grandiose and would’ve been perfect for the envisioned Peter Pan musical, but it’s not something I really have an interest in hearing.

“Rocker” is sounding less and less interesting to me as more comes out. It’s pretty good but I expected something more bombastic based on the descriptions.

“World of Candy” is painful lmao. Willy Wonka ass song.

“Garbage” and “Time Marches On” are cool. No vocals so, again, weird to gate keep. Like someone else on here said, I can very vaguely hear a Bryan Loren influence, but I don’t know if that’s just because it’s new jack swing influenced.
