The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

Two versions of Buffalo Bill exist; one with background vocals from The Jacksons, and the other being a soloist version from Michael. Both versions were recorded during Victory. The two versions were the same except in the soloist version (The Jacksons background vocals replaced by Michael background vocals), Michael recorded all of the vocal parts (including previously undiscovered low notes in the 2nd octave and whistle register notes) and both versions had all the different vocal parts (both versions had the same number of all vocal parts and all these parts in both versions were identical), all the same productions, and all the same arrangements. I hope both can be released, along with all of the previously unreleased songs (including all original forms) when the biopic comes!

The one day I dont watch this thread like a hawk, something leaks.

Definitely cool to finally hear this. I'd rather get more of these type of tracks than piano demos. This scratch vocal has a lot of energy and could easily fit next to the other Bad outtakes. It's not my favorite outtake and I wouldn't trade any of the Bad25 demos for it. That doesn't mean I'm not going to listen to it on repeat and appreciate it.

I can hear why Bottrell doesn't like it. Just sounds like an experiment with the synclavier between John Barnes and MJ. He may have not been able to do anything with it to push it further. Quincy obviously wasn't interested. I guess it turned him off.

It's a finished recording, never an album title.
Do you know this because you heard it? If so, can you describe it?
Or do you know it from a source?
Or is it a deduction based on an interview with the songwriter?

Walter Afanasieff made 3 songs (at least) with MJ: The World Is No Church, Fall Again, Edgar Allan Poe.

We know that the song "Edgar Allan Poe" dates from 2000/2001. "Fall Again" dates from 1999. The songwriter gave an interview right after "Fall Again." In this interview, he indicated that he wanted to finish "Fall Again" and that he had already worked with Michael in the past. Hence the deduction that the first song they worked on together was "The World Is No Church."
