After MJ’s death, what song was the hardest to listen to?

For me it had to be gone to soon ! Kills me! Because he really was gone too soon!

For me it was 'Human Nature', it was actually the first song I heard after his passing. It came on the radio and I just burst into tears. Hearing the intro always takes me back to that day.

At the time I didn't have most of my MJ CDs with me, I think I had a couple from the J5 where I was living. I was really affected by it, I didn't really listen to anything.

I wouldn't say any songs were particularly hard to listen to. Maybe Gone Too Soon and Will You Be There. I remember this making me pretty angry though:

I've always wanted to listen to the original cut of Farewell My Summer Love, so I was impatiently looking forward for the "Hello World" collection & its August 2009 release. Then Michael's death on June 25th, and an early shipment by Hip-O Select. My copy had arrived around mid July - oh boy, listening to FMSL was a bittersweet experience. Not really hard, but it felt odd.

One Day In Your Life makes me cry my eyes out! I remember going into the O2 Arena on July 13th, 2009 during the MJ vigil at the O2….going in to the very place where I had seen Michael 3 months earlier and been SO HAPPY and EXCITED…..and One Day In Your Life just kept playing in my head and I kept looking around like it was a dream and like everything would be moving in slow motion and I was crying my eyes out!! ”One day in your life….you’ll remember a place…”…”You’ll come back and you’ll look around you…One day in your life…you’ll remember the love you found here…you’ll remember me somehow…”….”I will stay in your heart….and when things fall apart…you’ll remember one day”….

Gone too soon
