Back at Lily's Apartment, the two friends sat down to some ordered takeout of Chinese Food which consisted of Vegetable lo mein, and General Tso chicken courtesy of Lily herself; Michael was surprised at how well she made friends and got along well with just about anyone during her time here. She always said that once you get around and take the time to associate yourself with other people, then you know you had individuals in your corner whenever you really needed help or if they needed you for that matter even.

Lily thought in her head wondering how she should ask the question without making Michael feel either awkward or embarrassed even. After the secret that he revealed about himself, she was quite curious about how it lead to that point for him. This was a new fact that she didn't even know until just some minutes ago before coming back. Nevertheless, it was now or never.

"So Mike, when did you realized that you have been Bi?"

He stopped as the fork was frozen in his hold thus, placing it back down on the plate as well as taking a sip of his green tea juice then wiped his mouth with a napkin soon looking down at his hands like they were the most important things ever. He gently bit his bottom lip a habit that he picked up when he was younger whenever he was nervous or dreaded when Joe would have the belt in his hand in case if he and the rest of the boys would mess up. This was the side that no one ever knew about; only those whom were in his close inner circle, only saw it for themselves who he could trust.

Although he loved his mother dearly from the bottom of his heart, he couldn't tell her for within the Jehovah's Witness religion, being bi or even just gay for that matter was strictly prohibited, and forget Joe, Michael knew how much the elder Jackson male HATED people of the LGBTQ community that if he were to see two men holding hands, he would literally kill them with his own and that was the part that he was secretly afraid of because he quoted that "No son of his was going to be a Fag Fairy" and with those words, Mike had completely shut up not wanting to spill the beans.

Not now,

Not ever.

He lightly tapped on the table trying to find the words to say then he sighed. "Well, it's kinda hard for me to explain, now don't take it as an answer because....."

"Mike, your secret is safe with me, I promise, I won't tell anybody about this; you have my word; and if anybody has the nerve to ask, then I will fire back." She winked causing him to feel a little bit better. He slightly blushed as well as giving out a warm smile in return releasing a breath that he didn't realize he was holding.

"It started happening when I was around 16 at the time. Back then, I didn't know what was going on, but for some reason, I knew I was having these feelings inside that I tried to control."

"Was it around during that time when you and April had started going steady?" Lil asked.

"A couple months after that. One Saturday afternoon, we were at a diner having breakfast. And well, there was this cute waiter guy who served us. He was so handsome....and those muscles....anyway, I've never met anyone like him before. He gave the both of us free food and told us that it was on the house. But I still left him a tip anyway." Lily smirked and giggled knowing how Mike would grow weak in the knees and feel more hotter than July when it came onto men's biceps which were definitely his kryptonite.

"But then, I realized I fully became one when me and Latoya had gone to New York for me to film The Wiz with Diana."

"Seriously?" Lily asked seeing her friend nod.

"You better believe it. I'll never forget. One Friday night after we had finished with some scenes, the both of us had gone to Studio 54 to unwind; being there, was like a paradise because I could dance for fun, and not to perform in front of so many people; it was such a breather indeed." The Pop King grinned as he could remember the many weekends when he and Toy could dance the night away; it was the only time where he could really be himself. No Joe, no brothers, just him and his sister enjoying themselves and each-other.

And that was when he met him...

Among the many dancers, and neon colored lights, landed a nice-looking guy with shoulder length dark brunette hair, and the most silver colored eyes that he had never seen anyone have before in his late teen life. He looked quite dashingly sexy in a red wife beater in which his pecs outlined within the piece of clothing, a pair of acid washed ripped jeans and also what looked like to be black combat boots that made him looked like a hot punkster who came from a metal rock concert.

What a devilishly handsome hunk....

But what Mike didn't know was that the guy he was literally eyeballing, was making his way towards both siblings for he started to grow nervous and shaky causing Latoya to look at her little brother in concern but also quickly turned into teasing when she saw devilishly handsome hunk coming as she told him just to act natural thus, pushing him towards the slightly taller male.

Lily laughed out loud causing the Jackson singer to blush uncontrollably.

"She did that!?"

"I was literally out of my mind! I just didn't know what to say at that point. I seriously acted like the awkward student wanting to ask the cute girl out to the prom, or maybe I was like the girl acting too giddy to be asked out for prom. But anyway, he told me that his name was Antoine, and that he had went to the club to meet up with his friends for a night out, but they never came. So, we started to dance and got to know each-other."

"That's nice, whatever happened to him anyway? What did he do?"

"He was originally from Montana, but he left home after he had finished High School and moved to the city to pursue a singing career where he met 3 men who loved heavy metal rock just like him. He might have looked like he didn't give a darn about other people, but in reality, he was actually nice and friendly to me. He treated me like a regular person instead of a celebrity which I was happy and grateful for. He would invite me to his rehearsals where he even introduced me to his friends who all treated me like I was apart of them; we would go out to dinner, go to the arcade, and even took me to watch a movie with him."

"Ooohhhh...it sounded like you were hot for him weren't you?" Lil teased loving to see the beautiful scarlet blush spread on Michael's cheeks.

"So cute and adorable..." She thought to herself.

"But what about April? I mean, not to be rude or anything, but weren't you guys still dating at the time? Didn't she ever heard about Antoine?"

"Yeah, after when shooting for the movie had wrapped up, and we went back home to California...." He bit his lip once again as Lil started to grow confused like he was hiding something else.

"Mike, is there something you're not telling me?" She soon crossed her arms as he started to sweat a little bit despite the air being on and was quite cool within the apartment.

"On our last night here, he invited me over to his place to watch a film with him. He was very welcoming and even ordered pizza for the both of us. Halfway into it, he took me by the hand like I was a treasured maiden to him. And...he kissed me."

One could even imagined on how Lily looked very surprised! She then blinked twice while Mike looked the other way not wanting to see her reaction. Even though it had been 10 years since that happened, he felt as if that he had betrayed April by not telling her; deep down, he was afraid to tell her the truth and what would've been between them at that time. She was his very first friend whom he had made when he and the rest of the family had moved to Encino back in the Spring of 71' since then, they shared secrets, laughter, tears, and even embarrassing moments; he couldn't bare the fact that she would eventually walk away and leave him after all that they had been through; she had never used him for her own gain, for money, or for social status, instead by making her own way in life despite the numerous times by asking her if she needed anything but would only hear a no each time.

"Woah, is that all you guys did? It didn't lead to anything more than that?"

"No, oh my God, no. He was very understanding when I told him that I had a girlfriend and said that he was actually but secretly gay, but he was very respectful and even asked me if I was actually bisexual at that point. I told him that I really didn't know what I was, but the thing is, I'm not really into labels, and nobody can't tell you who to fall in love with. Whoever I love, I know I would cherish them just as they would cherish me."

Lily smiled and took his hand into hers. "I'm pretty sure your love is near to you than you think." She winked and took her plate and Michael's plate to clean up as he followed after to help.

It was now 11:37 by the time the movie had finished playing. Lily suggested that after dinner, both she and Michael could watch Three Men and a Baby which she already had the video tape for. Seeing that it was a great idea, he soon made some popcorn, while she got a blanket for them to cover up with. During the song of Daddy's Girl that was playing while the three friends were having fun with the infant, Mike's hand had found its way wrapped around the aspiring designer's forearm in which she secretly took in a victory for; after all, his hand was so warm that it felt like protection as she slightly moaned soon leaning her head onto his shoulder for comfort.

Shoes were placed neatly near the doorway as his sock covered feet found themselves on her coffee table, as well as her bare feet were on the sofa. She didn't mind being in this position, the scent of his sandalwood cologne made its way towards her nose as it slightly made her eyes droop a bit loving the smell; it wasn't overly masculine, but just enough where it smelt like him, smelt like love, affection, and strength in which he displayed at times whenever he would come over to the Sanderson Estate back in Pasadena to visit as he got older.

She enjoyed moments like these when the world stood still, and there was no urgency to do anything else. She admitted that at times, she did feel homesick, she missed her Mum's warm embrace whenever Darla would hug her, she missed her older brothers' teasing her, and of course, she really missed April who would always have baked goods ready that she would try out, or bring as comfort depending on the mood that one would have. Sure, she knew that she could always call her big sister now and again just to talk, just to hear her voice to know that she was still there no matter what, but still, it wasn't the same in her opinion than seeing her face-to-face. Despite knowing that she was going to get married soon, and that Gilbert was indeed a great and cool guy for her, she feared that she was losing her favorite sister.

Even though she would never say that out loud.

But all in all, she was happy that Michael was here; it was great to see a familiar face to know that with him around, it was great fun and that there was never a dull moment with him. The video tape was soon ejected out of the vcr, along with the TV now off as both friends stretched their stiff limbs and got up from the couch. Seeing the time, Michael got a little embarrassed knowing that he stayed a little too late for comfort; as he was about to put on back his loafers, Lily soon stopped him.

"Now I know you're not leaving out here at this time of night." She scolded leaving him to bite his bottom lip once again and hold his head down feeling like a little boy who just got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

"I wouldn't want to put you out of your way like this Lil, you have already done so much, that I don't want to overstay my welcome." Lily shook her head and lightly scoffed.

"Mike, you're my friend. Do you honestly think that if you were doing that, I would've put you out by now? Don't get me started, it's great to have company around here once in awhile; since Nancy and Jake are away with their own pleasures, it can be quiet here at times, plus, even though the guys are away on tour, and with April going to be getting married soon, it will be even more lonely than usual.

Shaply eyebrows were soon furrowed feeling sorry for the young woman. He knew that even though she was old enough to be independent, there were times that it could get lonesome. But he soon smiled.

"Alright then, you're right. Um, if you happen to have a spare blanket and pillow, then I can sleep on the couch." He said but soon flinched when he looked at the blonde's expression like he just insulted her mother.

"Get real Twinkle Toes, just because I live in an apartment, doesn't mean that I only have 1 bedroom. Come on, let me show you the guestroom."

"You have a guestroom?"

"Of course, so whenever company comes over here, they have somewhere to sleep for a few days or for a night, depending on how long they stay."

The door was soon opened as Lil let Michael in thus taking in his surroundings as he looked all over feeling how this room was warm and welcoming with it being so aesthetically serene with how the colors blended together to make the atmosphere calm.

"If you want to clean up, there's an extra toothbrush in the cabinet and some towels if you like to take a shower, but I don't have a change of clothes, so I can't help you with that part. Sorry."

"It's nice, thank you so much Lily, for everything that you have done."

"No problem, anytime Michael."

Happy Sunday Morning 🌅 Gosh, you would not believe of how much snow we have down here, it's so thick! But anyway, on with the story!

Michael stared up at the ceiling lost in thought. He always knew that due to his endless creative mind, as well as hours of rehearsing, and perfecting, that his insomnia would kick in causing him to not be able to have a decent good night's sleep. But this time, it wasn't about thinking of dance moves to perfect, nor was it about the music, instead, it was about a certain someone in mind. In his head, and in his opinion, he felt that this was wrong; he had always saw Lily as like a little sister, someone like Janet due to them being the youngest in the families where due to them being the last, they have always felt like that they were misunderstood for not being able to have the chance to show the world what they could do. Sure, Janet became very successful within the television and now the Music Industry where she was able to make her own pathway, and Lil was doing absolutely amazing within her own craft too.

He would never admit it, but there were also times, that deep down, even though he and April broke up on good terms, and still remained very good friends, there was a part of him that was still pretty much in love with her; but he would never say it out loud. She was the first person that made him feel normal along with helping him how to balance his then child superstar lifestyle and his normality to still have some breathing time. She had never used him for fame, fortune, or status, and stuck to her morals and values of working hard to achieve her own goals without asking anyone for help in return; and that was what he loved about her.

But with Lily on the other hand, Mike did see April in her, but with more fire and determination, not that April didn't have any, she really did, but there was just something about the youngest of the Thompson siblings that spoke titanium within those beautiful light gray eyes of hers. Those orbs spoke volumes of pure energy, but also calm especially how the way they sparkled like diamonds in the rough that used their most brightest lights to shine a way. He soon turned over to another side hoping to drown out the thoughts that have been plaguing him all day.

"I can't, I just can't. Please God, I can't do this; it would be so wrong to feel like I want to date my little sister. Show me the right path, lead me on what I should do. But on the other hand, I don't want to break her heart, she's such a sweet young lady, that it would be so vile of me. But on the other hand, it's not like she's underage, argh! What should I do!? Maybe some sleep will be able to help me. I can figure out the rest in the morning."

Meanwhile, in Lily's room, the young woman was going through the same thoughts too. She didn't know what to do about Michael; she had always looked up to him like an older brother, a hero even! Sure, she loved Josh, Tim, and Jim, after all, they were her three older siblings, who would take the time to give her the time of day, by playing with her, or have tea parties with her whenever they weren't busy rehearsing, recording, or touring across America, or outside of the country, April was her favorite sibling of all. The two would always share secrets with each-other, anything miscellaneous, or if it was something very important that she didn't want to tell to Darla. They have had such an unbreakable bond from the minute when she was born, that it felt like April was her mother.

But, with Michael, he was something very magical and special. When she had met the rest of the Jackson family when she was just 5-years-old at the time, it felt like having surrogate older brothers and sisters except for Janet despite them only being a year apart, she saw her as like a baby sister as well as being the two youngest of both families. She loved them like they were her second family, and Hayvenhurst was her second home whenever she, April, Tiffany, and Rachel would visit.

With Michael, he was like a Beacon of light, who would always make her feel included and would always listen to what she wanted to say even though she didn't understand anything about music, but still wanted to feel more grownup. The more he grew, the more handsome he became. Her urges were then acting up as she tried very hard to calm them down. As she got older, even going into High School, she started dating thinking that if she could go out with guys whom were either the same age as her or even just a couple years older than her, then maybe the urges for him would go away; but three months down the road, she would get bored with one boy, and tell them that she would be just experimenting only for them that would get annoyed saying that maybe her preference were just much older guys in which she would fire back and run off.

There was just something about the Pop Icon that made him so cute, but still handsome and attractive. Of course, he was very famous where he could get any girl and guy that he wanted with just a snap of his fingers, but that was just it, nobody took the time to get to know the man behind the music, behind the money, and behind the fame. They only wanted something from him to have the taste of the good life, and what it would feel like to be amongst the rich and the famous, their share of the piece of pie just so they could brag and show off to their friends and family members.

But Lily, who has known Michael for years, had always seen. The loneliness, the isolation, people had always dreamed of becoming famous, but deep down, it was no walk in the park; there was always a price to pay in order to persevere in order to reach the top, but at the end of the day, all you wanted was someone to share your life with. She soon sighed couldn't get even a wink of sleep without the thoughts running through her head. She then got up out of bed putting on her fluffy floral robe and fluffy slippers as she left her room and tiptoed two doors down towards the guestroom where she could see Mike asleep.

He looked so peaceful. One, two, three steps she took towards him careful not to make any form of noise as she witnessed how calm he looked. The poor sweet thing; years of endless rehearsals, perfecting, and performing could really have an affect on someone's sleep cycle to the point they would literally try to find ways to just close their eyes if only for a moment. His face looked relaxed and his breathing was calm like he was finally able to indulge in his own dreams without any interruptions whatsoever. She got closer, and closer until, she planted a light, feathery kiss on his cheek.

"Sweet dreams Michael....I love you..." She mumbled out as she carefully took her time and left quietly shutting the door behind her, but she didn't go back to her room. Instead, she stopped in front of another door but with this particular one, it had a sign around the knob that read:

The one good thing about apartments, was that some of them had an extra room where anyone could make them as whatever they wanted. Be it a Home Office, Art Studio, or a Dark Room for photography, the possibilities were endless. For Lily Thompson, she decided was to go all out to make it into her Fashion Designing Studio where mannequins of different sizes were lined neatly at the wall. Paper sketches of many people along with children whom were dressed in different styles and colors of clothing, were pinned on corkboards to get a clear idea of how she wanted the look to be. Two large foldable tables were at an L-shaped within a corner where 4 sewing machines, fabrics that were stacked on top of each-other, and many accessories sat in either clear or colorful kits ready for any little detail to be added in the finished product.

She walked towards a standing mannequin where a red blazer with intricate embroidery was covered in protective plastic. She smiled warmly admiring her hard work as it took her weeks just to find the right shade of red anyone could have for fabric. The diamonds were another story; she didn't purchase them from any arts & crafts store, instead, she bought them from an elderly woman in exchange for cleaning her apartment, watering her plants, and running some errands for her. So amazed by her amount of dedication, she didn't loan them, nor did she ask for any money either; she gave them to her as a token for gratitude and to also tell her that the diamonds were in the form of luck to only use them for a person who she loved the most.

She blushed remembering the lady's words thinking that it was just a bunch of nonsense not wanting to be rude, but soon found out that she would've been right all that time as she shook her head thus turning off the light but not without looking back at her creation.

"I sure hope he likes it." She said then closed the door behind her.

The next morning, both friends were in the kitchen finishing up their breakfast. Michael took his last spoonful of cinnamon flavored oatmeal as well as having his final sip of orange juice as he thanked Lily for the meal.

"Next time, you should try it with almonds and apple slices. I remember Mum would always make it that way for me and April at the time, especially during the Winter time in St.Louis." Mike nodded as he picked up his bowl to wash it in the sink.

"Do you ever miss Missouri?" He asked while she only lightly shrugged.

"I didn't get to know much about it like the other 4 did. We left to move to Pasadena when I was around 3 so some memories I do remember, but not much. I love both New York and California don't get me wrong, but, to tell the truth, somewhere in my heart, I still consider the state I was born in my original home." The Pop King smiled warmly knowing that no matter where he went when it came onto touring, he still had some memories of Gary, Indiana and nothing would ever change that.

"Soooo, don't blame me for being inquisitive, I know that it's my somewhat curious side showing up, but I was just wanting to figure out what is it that you wanted to show me?" Lily giggled knowing how adorable Michael looked rocking back and forth on his heels like a little boy who wanted to find out from both his parents on what he was going to be getting for Christmas; she had told him that after they would finish eat, she also had a surprise for him which would be waiting within the other room that she never mention until a moment earlier.

"Well Mr. Glitter socks, if I tell you, then it would be spoiled now would it?" She smirked causing him to pout and cross his arms.

"But that's not fair! I wanna know, please, please, please?" Now Lily went for full on laughter seeing how cute Mike could have his child side at times plus, it was indeed and definitely cute how his behavior was; thus, she then sighed.

"You know what they always say, Curiosity Killed the cat, but, what the Hell? Okay, come on." They soon went down the hallway together stopping at the door with the Do not Disturb sign leaving him in confusion wondering why she would have a sign like that, but he then quickly changed his mind when his brown eyes widened at what he saw leaving the youngest Thompson woman to smile as well as taking him by the hand and welcoming into her Design Studio. He was literally amazed by the layout, and the aesthetics of what the room had offered: different sized mannequins were lined up either bare or with work in progress clothing designs on them, papers of people of different ages in sketch and colored pencils, and sewing machines that looked like they were about to go to war ready and equipped ready to tackle any type an piece of fabric necessary.

"Oh my, this room is incredible, you never told me about this part of your apartment."

"One thing when it comes onto apartment shopping as well as home living, is that you always want to have an extra place for your creative mind to flow freely. I wanted it be separate from my room that way, I wouldn't have so much cramped in there; besides, my room is my own sanctuary for me to rest my head and relax, if I were to bring some stuff in, then I would feel overwhelmed and stressed out. By the way, how are the renovations for Neverland coming along?"

"Very well, thanks, hopefully, the mansion should be finished by sometime next year in the Fall, for now, I'm still living with Mother at Hayvenhurst."

"I can't wait to see it. It's not everyday that celebrities will get to have their very own Amusement Park in their backyard. I've always wondered that; would it be twice as fun like Super Mega World? Or even Disney World, or Disneyland?" Now, it was Michael's turn to chuckle knowing how much that though that Lily was in her early 20's at this point, she still had a child like personality and spirit within her; they were alike in that aspect.

"Yes, I assure you, and don't worry, you and the rest will be the first to come when it officially opens. So, where's the surprise?" Lily grinned real wide as she told him to close his eyes soon doing what he was told to do waiting in anticipation as his heart could be heard beating inside. The next thing he knew was that he was then told to open them yet again as a gasp was heard.

Right in front of him, was the red blazer with the intricate diamond design that looked stunning. Michael covered his mouth with both hands as his eyes twinkled.

"Oh my Lily, this...this is such a surprise, you did this?" Lily blushed and looked away shyly.

"Yeah, it took a good while just to find fabric within the right color red, I know it's your favorite color plus, you'll get to have the audience stop like the true King that you are once you hit the stage at an Award show. They'll be falling at your feet in no time."

Tears formed within doe eyes soon covering his mouth thus, hugging her gently as well as giving a kiss on her forehead causing her to blush once more and closed her eyes to savor the moment feeling her heartbeat.

"Oh Lily, you are truly a star in my eyes. This is remarkable, oh, I will definitely wear this all the time especially on special occasions. This is so sweet. Thank you very much." Lily smiled warmly placing a strand of hair behind his ear as he soon blushed by the gesture; warm glossy lips were soon placed on his cheek as his face felt like it could change into 10 different shades of red as his heartbeat escalated.

"You're very welcome Pop Icon." She winked leaving him in a state of warmth.

The snow drizzled daintily from the pitch black night sky by the time Michael stepped out of the hotel as he breathed in the cold Winter air as all around, the streets were covered by the thick white blanket of the sparkling pleasure. Tonight was the very last night of the old year; 5 hours until everyone would officially say goodbye to 1987 and leave room for 1988 to make its grand entrance.

All around, people were either making preparations by going inside different stores to go home and watch the ball drop on television, or they would have rather have a night out on the town and celebrate instead, and Michael was one of those people. For once in his life since he got famous, he wanted to feel normal; so, instead of asking for a limo, as well as giving his Bodyguards the night off, he then hailed for a taxi as he could see the bright yellow car pulling up towards him.

"Where to Sir?" The cab driver asked.

"The Rainbow Room Please?" Michael replied as the driver whistled.

"Swanky place that, you would have to book months in advance just to get a reservation!" Michael silently giggled. The man had absolutely no idea that he was conversating with a celebrity; heck, he didn't even know he literally had one in his cab to begin with and Mike had rather kept it that way too. All his life, people had stopped, stared, screamed, and fainted at the sight of him alone; even though he felt loved and flattered that his fans supported him, often times, it could get way too much; he might have loved them yes, but it also went a little too extreme even for him.

Pretty soon, the vehicle stopped in front of the entrance as the Pop Icon thanked the driver and wished him a very Happy New Year along with a $200.00 tip as his eyes widened along with him being flabbergasted couldn't believe his eyes that he had THE Michael Jackson in his taxi the entire time, but then remained calm as he soon asked for an autograph that he wanted to give to his 6-year-old niece who was a big fan of him. Doing what he was asked, he then signed, thus, getting out to wave goodbye seeing the automobile drive away. Exhaling out a breath of air, he then went into the Restaurant seeing that the place was packed!

The Rainbow Room was one of the most wealthiest, and glamorous eating establishments that New York had ever created, and built known for its style of luxury and for catering to the most highest rich and famous celebrities that they ever had for patrons yet! Along with its most breathtaking skylines that made you feel like you were on top of the world!

Michael walked into the lobby as the Connoisseur greeted him as well as to let him know to enjoy his stay who soon thanked him soon going into the elevator to the room where his two dates were waiting on him to make his appearance.

52, 53, 54, went the beeping of the lift as his heart beat with excitement and his palms became a little sweaty knowing that this was going to be a good date while maintaining a private relationship with 2 people at the same time. He hoped that he wouldn't screw it up knowing his history of being shy, but he never had to pretend with them especially after making an agreement that they would keep this relationship a secret.

Especially knowing that he had a secret liking to Eddie....

6 Months Later...

December 19th, 1987.

Location: The Chapel of Roses, Pasadena, California.

"I now pronounce you Husband and Wife, you may kiss the bride." The Priest announced as both Gilbert and April passionately kissed as everyone around them clapped and cheered for the now newlywed couple. Pictures were taken, and even screams from the little children could be heard as well. Michael smiled warmly at his long-time friend as she smiled back at him once her head was turned towards him to indicate by telling him thanks for being apart of this magical moment; but once she and her new groom kissed once again, tears soon started to cloud his vision.

The Wedding Reception was lively by the time nightfall came about. Music bleared throughout the large hall as guests couldn't get enough of the now Mr. And Mrs. Hughes as they held hands jumping and dancing to the tune of the Irish Riverdance. Friends, Family Members from both sides, even Celebrities all laughed enjoying one another's company.

Michael soon made his way over to the punch bowl of the large buffet table as he poured himself a cherry-limenade flavored beverage soon stepping back to admire his companion who looked so stunning and radiant in her elegant and dazzling wedding ball gown; the high neck did its job of covering her from the winter chill while still making her look graceful like a beautiful swan, as well as the illusion sleeves along with the flower patterns that climbed up towards her shoulders added in the heavenly vibe making her look very ethereal along with the bedazzling jewels that sparkled to everytime she would walk or move.

Lily had really outdid herself. Throughout the day, teenaged girls, the moms of the girls, and even young women asked her on where did her sister get such an amazing and outstanding dress like that only for her as the same answer that she made it. Michael felt very proud of her; she wasn't called The Princess of Fashion for nothing. This would really kickstart her fashion career off the ground and get her the exposure that she rightfully deserved in order to move into the Fashion Industry as well as the world, and he would be right behind her no matter what.

"You can't keep your eyes off her can you?" He slightly jumped had no idea that she was right next to him the entire time soon blushing and clearing his throat.

"Well, she is absolutely beautiful." Lily rolled her eyes knowing that he was lying, of course she looked beautiful, hell, she WAS beautiful! But that deep down was the reason why Mike looked at her within a dreamy state knowing how much he wished that he was still in a relationship with her; not that there was anything wrong with Gilbert, he was nice, funny, although a bit of a neatfreak, but he was also the type of person that made friends with anyone he met; due to the fact that they all knew each-other when they were kids, and he transferred to April's elementary school when he and his family had moved to California from Vermont when his dad got a new job offer. But, on the other hand in Michael's opinion, he and April had known one another the longest; sure, he admitted that he was kinda jealous, as well as insecure, but in a way, he still loved her, was deeply in love with her, but knew he had to let go, he still loved her as a good friend and confidant,

And nothing would ever change that. He knew Gilbert would always be there for her.

"Michael, you don't need to lie to me, I know that deep down, you're still very much in love with her am I right?" Lil asked seeing the Pop Icon held his head down in a little embarrassment and shyness knowing that she peeped into his soul.

"If it hadn't been for our careers skyrocketing so much from a couple years back, we would've tried to make things work; but, it's not like we ended things on a bad note, it's just that what we love to do was booming for each of us. Even after when We Are The World was completed, the romance was just no longer there, but it was more platonic. Sure, we still hugged and kissed....Sometimes, if I could go back in time, we still would've tried to make it work, but...on the other side....I'm glad that it's him. He is rather handsome indeed."

Lily smirked. "Careful Mike, your bisexualness is coming out of the works."

Mike blushed. "Shut up. I'm going to go use the bathroom, because I don't have a good comeback." He left leaving her to laugh while he smiled.

"She does look rather amazing." He thought to himself referring to Lily who looked marvelous in her off the shoulder champagne colored dress with matching gloves that reached up to her elbows. Her hair was nicely combed with just a little tease to it and by standing underneath the golden lights, she looked like she had an entire halo around her making her look angelic leaving him to shake his head and blush so red, that even he felt hot despite the low temperatures outside.

"What is it with Thompson women that make them look so...unique?" He thought.

Happy Sunday to y'all! Sorry for the little absence here, been so busy, and at times, I lose a little motivation, but I'm here now, so let's get it on!

NOTE: IRL, One of Michael and Eddie's most notable early public interactions was on November 16, 1989, when Michael made a surprise appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show to present Eddie with the "MTV Humor God of the 80's" award. But, for the sake of the story being in 1987, the both will meet during April's Wedding night. 😉😉

The faucet was now turned off as Mike had finished washing his hands soon grabbing a couple sheets of paper towels to dry them off. Once they were tossed into the trash bin, thus checking himself in the mirror, he then gently bit his bottom lip not liking what he saw.

His Eyes looked tired and slightly red due to the fact of neverending rehearsals and many sleepless nights while on tour; sure, he should've gotten used to the type of lifestyle considering that he and his brothers would rehearse through long hours (courtesy of Joe that is), but it was slowly taking a toll on his health (even though he would never say it out loud).

The vitiligo was growing at a steady rate making its appearance happen that he would have Karen apply makeup where it wouldn't be seen in some areas, but knew he couldn't keep this up much longer. Despite Katherine telling him that he still looked like a very handsome young man and that he had gotten the skin disease from Joe's side of the family, namely his Paternal Grandfather Samuel, he still felt insecure about it. He just couldn't help himself, throughout his life especially his teen years, Michael had always been sensitive about his appearance. Acne on his face to the point he would wash his face in the dark which was one of the reasons why he avoided looking at himself in mirrors.

Countless times of teasing by Joe as well as the brothers about how big his nose looked which was also why he would lie in his bed crying at times and would even call April just to hear her loving and supportive voice to know that she was on the other line or would come over to Hayvenhurst despite the 5-hour long drive just to hold him in the dark room.

No talking,

No jokes to try to lighten the mood in an instant,

But just being held was the best that he ever had where she always kept him warm. And that was enough.

She never saw him as an Entertainer,

She never asked him for anything,

All she saw was her friend who helped was to get her kite down the tree that fateful Saturday Afternoon in the Spring of 1971 along with a kindhearted soul that was just too good for the evil world.

In which they both had in common.

Who would ever want him now anyway?

They only saw Michael Jackson, the Pop Icon, the Musical Genius, the Singer, the Dancer, and the Performer, but never Michael Jackson, the man behind the Glitz and the Glamour, who was just like all of them, who bled, who cried, and who would laugh at the most funniest jokes ever, and who loved to watch Disney movies that were timeless and magical. All they ever wanted was to be with him for his money, fame, and luxury lifestyle just to say that they had an exciting experience, and would leave him in the dust to laugh at him behind his back. Joe was right about that part, Michael was just too good for anybody and only saw him as a Walking ATM machine for their own benefit.

"Please, like he wasn't one of them? Give me a break." Michael puffed out a breath of air. Before he could into more of his inner monologue, the bathroom stall soon opened.

"You know, if you stare at the mirror too long like that, you could break it." Mike soon turned around, and silently gasped towards a tall black man who looked to be a foot taller than he was who sported a slight growing mustache wearing a black tuxedo along with a red necktie, a pair of pressed iron black slacks, and polished Stacy adams.

"What?" The guy asked not at all offended that he was being stared at.

"You're Eddie Murphy..."

"The one and only" He bowed dramatically earning a giggle from the Pop King.

"What are you doing here?" Michael asked.

"Well technically, this is a bathroom, where you come here to do your business when you had too much to drink." Mike rolled his eyes good heartedly and chuckled once more.

"No, you dork, I mean, what are you doing here at April's Wedding? I just can't imagine you, you know, at somebody's wedding..."

"If you really want to know, Lily invited me." Eddie said like he was talking about the weather leaving Michael surprised.

"Lily? I had no idea. She never told me."

"She told me not to tell you, as a surprise since that time when I jokingly questioned about your manliness."

Michael blushed. "That was 4 years ago!"

"I know, but I bet you couldn't stop thinking about me huh?" Eddie winked leaving Michael to look the other way blushing like a hot cherry and pouting causing the Comedian to laugh out loud.

It's after 3 a.m., Do you know where your MJ Fanfiction readers are? Lol 😆 😆 Enjoy!

For the next couple of hours, both men were really getting acquainted with each-other. They spoke about their childhoods, likes, and dislikes, as well as why they became to be who they were now. Both sat outside in the chilly Winter night air as a large blanket of snow surrounded around their feet taking in the twinkling stars that sparkled like diamonds that decorated the clear sky. Michael laughed out loud at a joke that Eddie had said as he soon caught his breath couldn't remember the last time that he bursted out without having to control himself like he usually would.

He couldn't even remember the last time he laughed at all.

Surely it couldn't be the drinks. April specifically told the caterers no alcohol knowing that little children including her nephews and nieces as well as the Jackson children of her friends were attending.

"Oh my gosh Eddie, that was hilarious!" Michael exclaimed soon wiping his eyes. Eddie grinned.

"Wait till you come to see me perform, then you will definitely see a whole extended side." He winked seeing the Pop Icon shake his head and sighed now fully back in control and well composed gazing out at the quiet streets with not even a car driving past the Church. It was a big contrast to what was happening inside; he didn't know if they were still having a ball in there, or if everything had calmed down, but what he did know was that...he didn't want to go back inside yet.

The Comedian's large hand was soon in front of Mike's face as he stared at it in confusion while the taller guy on the other hand only sighed and rolled his eyes.

"You know, this is the part where I ask you if you would like to dance with me." A surprised look was evident in Michael's features. He wasn't really expecting that straight forwardness from anybody let alone Eddie himself; not that he was afraid of embarrassing himself, but it was also the fact that he was secretly afraid of who would come out and see them in an...intimate dance position. All of his life, Michael had fought down the urge of his bisexuality that he was in fear of what others especially his fans would think of him; sure, he had a great support team in Janet, Latoya, April, and now even Lily, but the rest didn't know, not even his Mother.

There were times that she would ask him if he had found anybody who suited his fancy yet only for him to either dodge the question in the most polite way necessary, or pretend that he had something else to do in the meanwhile. He loved his mother dearly, and was the one confidant who he could confide into, but there were also times that she could be quite pushy still stuck in her old view ways of finding the right woman whom he could settle down with and have children (where she could also have grandchildren herself too). But he wasn't ready to give himself away yet.

It was great to have the once in a lifetime opportunity to see Eddie Murphy up close and personal, so why not live in the moment? Who knows what would happen tomorrow? He soon held out his hand towards him gently grasping it as the Comedian/Actor lead the way to the back of the Chapel where nobody would witness them. Eddie was a good foot taller than Mike. At only 6'0, he had the advantage of looking slightly down at him who soon blushed a bright pink (blaming it on the weather of course, hey, it was cold! Thank you very much).

They started slow in order to match the timing of their steps as Eddie held Mike protectively gently holding onto his petite waist causing the said Performer to giggle.

"I never took you for the suave gentlemanly type, especially someone who is light on their feet." He whispered but in a way where the other would hear as he smirked.

"Hey, don't knock a brotha out, I do have my ways, but I do know when to be serious in these types of slow times, for someone who has been singing and dancing all their life, I don't see you everyday waltzing with anybody." He winked causing the 5'9 male to blush while looking the other way.

"Oh stop it and hush, it's not everyday that I waltz with Comedians such as yourself, this is all pretty new to me, and so far, you're good-I-I mean, good on your feet, is what I meant to say." Eddie laughed while Michael gently bit his bottom lip softly enjoying the feeling of being in another man's arms like he didn't have to hide who he was in order to have a good time.

Deep down, he enjoyed being the Bottom when it came onto this type of whatever this was; it wasn't all the time where he had to be the Gentle Dom, he loved it when others took charge for once leaving him to take a breather and be cuddled for safety and warmth. The wind slightly picked up somewhat blowing into his long loose curls as they stared into each-other's eyes; brown into brown as they twinkled in delight.

What they didn't know was that Lily was watching them from afar smiling in her own way and blushed as she could hear her heartbeat.

But what she didn't know was that hers had synched with theirs.

Leaving it as a symbolization of what would come soon enough.

Finally, the wedding festivities were now officially over. After the final family and friend group pictures were taken, and hugs and kisses were exchanged, it was now time for the new couple to head out for their honeymoon. Michael watched warmly as April hugged her crying mother as she told her to call her the minute when she and Gilbert would reach to the airport in Hawaii.

For as long as he could remember, Mike had always imagined what it would be and feel like to get married especially to the one you truly loved the most. His older brothers had married to the loves of their life and moved on into Parenthood as well, while he, on the other hand, just focused on his music, and making his fans happy which was also a way to cure his growing loneliness too. He was then taken out of his mental sayings when April soon walked up towards him smiling sweetly and warmly as she then lightly touched his hand.

"Daydreaming again I see?" Mike shook his head fondly still couldn't get over the fact on how mesmerizing she looked in the gown as the wind slightly picked up the veil giving her an angelic appearance. His breath quietly hitched but choked it down not wanting for her to see his rising blush.

"Nah, just doing some thinking is all. So Mrs. Hughes, what does it feel like to be married now?" He smirked playfully causing her to giggle.

"Like a dream to be honest." She said, "And I also wanted to thank you too, for being there along with the whole family as well. I just wish Father could've just put religion aside for once and just...you know, be there for me..." She said sadly causing Mike to caress her cheek, but didn't want to overstep his boundaries.

"April, you're a beautiful young woman, who cares about what your father thinks? All that matters is that you're happy with Gilbert and that you're going to spend the rest of your life with him. Besides, Joshua had the honor of walking you down the aisle, and that to me is seeing how supportive your brothers are for you."

"Yeah, in their own way, but at the end of the day, they come around and are only looking out for my best interest especially Jim who is always protective." Mike chuckled.

"Well, now that the two of you are now Mr. And Mrs., looks to me that you're going to be moving out of your L.A. apartment huh?"

"That's right, there's a nice Victorian style house in a quiet but calm neighborhood in San Francisco. We agreed that it would be great to have and raise children there whereas the apartment would be too small for when they start growing." Michael beamed at that. Like him, April also loved children too, and was also very protective of them. Some days at the Cafe, she would host a Learning How to Bake day where parents would bring their kids in and were taught how to make basic treats such as cookies and cupcakes, and often times, she would hold talent shows for them of all ages to show off on what they were good at.

One time, she even hosted a Fundraiser for brand new Hospital Equipment as well as a toy and book drive for those whose parents that couldn't afford to get them what they wanted for Christmas. The rest of the money donations had also went to Homeless Shelters and Soup Kitchens to the less fortunate. Michael couldn't be anymore proud of her than he already was; she had came a long way from nothing, and turned it around to make something of herself in the world as she got older.

She and Lily were DEFINITELY the sisters who did good all of the time.

There was his mind, thinking of Lily again, but at the same time, he couldn't get the dance that he and Eddie shared out of his head; what was wrong with him!?

"So, how has the tour been for you so far? How are you enjoying it?" Michael grinned as he told every bit of how it was going especially Japan where everyone had made him feel warm and welcome as well as offering him gifts of any kind. From Stuffed animals to candy, they were very sweet as April smiled loving that she could listen to him talk about how he was doing for himself since he left on his own to do solo. Since then, he had been ranking up the charts, but she also knew that he also had to take care of himself; it could be hard having to perform live in front of 82,000 people in stadiums with tickets selling out so fast, you would literally have to camp out just to get one.

She knew how it went especially with her brothers when they would tour all over nationwide. They had stopped the second leg of their tour to be apart of their younger sister's wedding despite the fact that she felt bad about it, they didn't mind and wouldn't miss it for the world knowing how their father was and how he stayed because she had converted from being a Jehovah's Witness, to Methodism. If she were to have any children, she wouldn't want them to experience not celebrating any kind of holiday the way she and her siblings experienced.

She and Sherman have not spoken since then. And for that, she didn't mind. After all, their father and daughter relationship had been anything but good from when she was a kid. He had never even been to the Grand Opening of The Lilac on Top Cafe when the doors first opened 4 years ago. Sure, she had Darla, her siblings, and her friends, but there were times when she just really wanted her father. And that was also something she and Michael had in common.

"That's nice to hear, but, you also have to take care of yourself too Mike, get some rest yourself, I wouldn't want to hear that you collapse on stage due to you running on adrenaline like that. What if at one point, you pass out from exhaustion?" Mike blushed knowing how much she always looked out for his well-being; and for that, he would forever be grateful that he found a genuine friend in her.

"So, how long are you both going to stay in Hawaii for?"

"2 weeks, we're also going to be spending Christmas there as well. Although, I do wish they had Christmas trees instead of Palm trees and snow, the holidays are never complete without it." Both friends laughed. "And don't worry about the Cafe, Janet said that she along with Rebbie and Latoya, your mother, your brothers and my brothers wives and even Tiff and Rachel will be taking turns to go there and manage it while we're gone."

"Aww...but I bet their version of apple stuffed Croissants won't be as good as yours." April laughed as Mike gave the puppy dog eyes.

"You'll live. Well, it's time to go."

"Yeah.... don't keep your new husband waiting now." He chuckled weakly couldn't believe that she was leaving; he knew that she would be back, but to him, it felt like losing a piece of his soul that went with her. They soon hugged as she gave him a kiss on the cheek as well as his forehead.

"I'll be back, and I promise I will write to let you know of all the fun we'll be having. And please, do take care, and sleep once you're done with a concert and you get back to a Hotel room alright?"

Mike nodded. "I will, and I'll also keep you posted." April smiled as she walked away but not without turning around to see him once again.

"Oh, and Michael?"

"Yeah?"

"If ever you have the time for yourself, please do me a favor to make sure you find somebody to love you for who you are. Even if it's a guy." She winked causing him to blush bright crimson and stutter.

"What? H-H-how did y-y-you know?" She smirked.

"Michael, I'm not blind, and I'm sure as Hell not oblivious to what's around me either, I knew about your Bisexuality for quite awhile now." No matter how much Michael tried, he just couldn't get the blush off of his face.

"Please, I'm begging you, don't tell anybody about this. Not even Mother knows, and I plan not to tell her until I choose to which would be, I don't know, never."

"Would never dream of it. I would never go to the media and tell the entire world that their favorite Icon loves to swing both ways."

"And for that, I can't thank you enough for that. You're an awesome friend." They hugged one more time before it was time for April to get into the limo as everyone waved goodbye and the long car soon drove down the street leaving a trail of smoke behind. Everyone left but Michael stayed in the exact spot until he sighed; she was gone now, and he now felt lonely.

Pretty soon, a finger tapped his shoulder as he then turned around seeing both Eddie and Lily with the blonde beauty holding her set of car keys.

"You know, with the night still young, we have all the time in the world to rule. What do you say we go get some food? I know this diner in Downtown L.A. that serves the best pancakes around; it might not be up to April's standards, but they are good nonetheless. You in Twinkle Toes?" Mike blinked and shook his head. Did they just asked him out? But it wasn't everyday that he got to spend time with the youngest Thompson woman and Comedian/Actor however, this would give him the chance to be around Eddie a lot more as well.

With the nod of his head and a smile, he then found himself within the backseat of Lily's red Toyota Camry and the now three friends drove off into the late night.

Inside the Cafe was full and bustling with activity by the time the Throuple had went inside. Cooks and Servers were already hard at work preparing the food, and taking them to tables to the many hungry patrons whom stopped by to get a bite to eat. Dishes clanked, the sound of bacon sizzled, along with the delicious odor of eggs while being either scrambled or done in a sunny side-up fashion.

Michael took it all in from the booth that he, Eddie, and Lily were sent to. He has been to many diners, cafes, and restaurants before back when he and his brothers would be on tour, but never had he seen one where they would still be open at this time of the night, but he never judged; people had to make money somehow in order to pay their bills.

"You've been here before?" Michael asked Lily as the waitress already took their drink orders. The blonde nodded.

"When I was around 17. Me and some friends had a study session, so we came here to do some schoolwork and eat for some fuel; it was a long night ahead of us; luckily, the worker, Pearl, knew one of my classmates named Stephanie since their actually both cousins. She took a job here during her Summer Vacation in order to save up enough money to pay for College. Haven't seen her since then; the last time I spoke to Steph, she told me that Pearl was planning to move to Nebraska."

"So y'all go way back?" Eddie asked.

"Oh yeah, Steph and I have known each-other since Middle School. When I first started, she was the one that showed me the ropes about the lifestyle there, but I never forgot Mum's teachings either; and we had been great friends since. She couldn't come to the wedding tonight, her older sister had given birth to twins, and now, she's officially an Auntie." Lily smiled warmly as both men grinned loving how the light had beamed down on her giving her a real glowing aura; Michael always liked how Lily would tell him stories about California, it was like sharing a piece of her that she never told anyone else besides her siblings especially April and her mother.

Soon, the food and drinks had now arrived. Michael had ordered a cup of hot chocolate, along with a plate of home style pancakes, scrambled eggs, and turkey bacon. Eddie had ordered a cup of hot coffee with 4 sugars and a lot of cream along with the house special which consisted of a large medium rare T-Bone steak, sunny side-up eggs, and toast with butter and strawberry jam, and for Lily, she ordered a hot cup of peppermint tea, and a plate of an egg white omelette, whole wheat toast, and a salad. Together, the friends ate, shared stories, and even listened to the Comedian's jokes while they laughed in a respectful manner not wanting for anyone to know what was so funny.

At the end of it all, once the food had been eaten, and the drinks had been finished, there was a debate on who would pay. Finally, Lily agreed that she would pay instead considering the fact that she was the one that told them about the diner in the first place. The waitress was paid along with a tip, and autographs signed as they then thanked her and walked out as they drove off for their next nightly adventure.


This is the shortest chapter in my opinion, but look out for more later tonight! See ya!

A loud belch was soon heard out of Eddie's mouth as both Mike and Lil looked at him with different expressions; Michael's face was of slight embarrassment, while Lily looked disgusted and somewhat annoyed as she rolled her eyes and had her hands on her hips. At least he had the decency to look kind of ashamed soon saying excuse me.

"Hey, come on now, I pardoned myself, but you can't help it, the food was damn good." Chuckles were soon heard amongst the three friends extinguishing the slight tense atmosphere around them thus, going back into the car with the blonde beauty putting her keys into the ignition then driving away to their next destination at hand. The Pop Icon had to admit, even though it would never top off his mother and April's cooking, the food was rather delicious; normally, he would pick at his meal, or eat very little causing him to feel full within a couples of minutes then pushing his plate forward, but somehow, he had managed to eat everything clean off his dish.

And that was saying something.

Or maybe the fact that he was indeed really hungry, and hadn't eaten a things since the Wedding Dinner. He was intrigued on where they would go next; after all, he trusted Lily and knew that she would never put them in grave danger; it had been such a long time that he was able to go out for a night on the town without his bodyguards always present; he had always wanted to go out where he could be free for awhile without any media and paparazzi getting in his way.

He then stared out the window seeing many lit up city buildings were in passing as Lil drove a little more further away and more deep into downtown LA leaving Michael confused while his curiosity was getting to him; he wanted to ask where they were going, but thought better of it. He didn't want for her to miss a turn, or get caught in an accident of any kind.

At last, the car soon came to a stop in front of what appeared to be a tall white building which only left Michael a little more confused; why would they be stopping here of all places? but a thought soon came into his head leaving him to shiver slightly and bite his bottom lip thinking of different scenarios of what the building entailed. All his life, he and his brothers were no strangers to Bars and Strip Clubs from their earlier days of performing and to this day, he was still traumatized about it, but he didn't let it show in fear of ruining the rest of the night.

Upon sensing his slight withdrawal, Lily and Eddie soon turned towards him as the young woman held out her hand gently holding his rubbing the coldness away from his fingers. He then held up his head facing her who was giving him the most softest, gentlest smile she had which reminded him of April. Soon, the trio got out of the vehicle to stretch their legs.

"I promise you, you're going to love the inside, trust me. Don't ever judge a book by its cover." She whispered giving out a little wink of encouragement while Eddie looked on with an unreadable look but for some reason, he could feel his heart beat of how well they looked together. The next thing he knew was that he was on Michael's right side while Lil was on the left leaving the Entertainer in the middle as they began walking towards the entrance doors.

Blame it on my dad, heh, he spelt my name with just 1 n and I have an h. Hopefully, if when it comes on the app maybe on Netflix, then yeah, but at the Movie theater, no. Can't afford it right now. What about you?

I wasn’t planning to go at the movie theater, but my kids what to see it. Well they are not kids anymore. The youngest is 23, and the oldest is 29. They are encouraging me to go. And I’m like, I don’t know because I saw everything I wanted to see when he was alive 🤷‍♀️ so it is not a big deal for me. I think this movie is for the new generation of fans. I am an old fan, I saw everything at his prime. But, yeah, I will go with them. I guess 🤷‍♀️

Okay then, Yeah, I do believe that this new generation who have only heard about him, or even doing research on him, are the ones that wanna go see it. I have seen The Jacksons: An American Dream on YouTube, that in my opinion, is the REAL Biopic even though it came out in 92 before I was born lol. But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Gosh, I can’t believe I replied this late. Sorry honey, I have been so busy and I got sick, I have not had time to see what’s up with the things I follow. And yeah, its true everyone is entitled to their own opinions 👍

Hey, don't worry about it, it's okay, I understand. I've been very busy as of late myself too, been having such a busy week that yesterday, I was tired beyond belief as well as my body feeling it; between getting up early to go with my Dad to his chemo treatment, then got up early Wednesday morning to go with my mom to her Doctor's appointment too, plus, cleaning and taking care of the house and my folks, it's been a lot. Hope you feel better and please take care 😘 😘 😘
