Dolby Atmos Remixes of all albums to be released

The method worked for me with Jam, not RTT. I'm only able to listen via AirPods right now, and it does sound somewhat different.

edit 3 : previously unheard (i think?) adlibs in the last 40 seconds of black or white
edit 4 : “cuz if it’s achin’ you have to rub it” sounds HORRIBLE on in the closet. sounds like it was filtered from the actual record. other than that, the main vocal comes across clearer during the chorus, some instrumentation takes a back seat. the start to the chorus doesn’t always hit as hard with the percussion. overall sounds a bit weird in places.
edit 5 : who is it is a faithful mix to what we’re used to, sounds nice to me. MAYBE a previously unheard adlib towards the end.

Also I’m glad you brought up the quality of Jam. That song and who is it have bothered me ever since turning over to AM. They sound even worse when collapsed down to mono too. Spotify never did this so I’m confused why AM has this problem.

Buttttt come to find out, that’s actually how the og mixes sounds on original pressings. It sounds like they used an MP3 sample or something but idk so I’m glad to at least Jam has an update. I still can’t hear it yet on my end but hope that updates soon.

I thought it had to be my apple music bugging, glad i’m not the only one and extra glad that its fixed now. also, haven’t made any further updates cuz once I put on Can’t Let Her Get Away my airpods started only playing bass in the right ear (not a problem with the mix, my airpods have that problem from time to time, excruciatingly annoying)
 
Do any of the other albums have their Atmos mixes, such as Invincible or Bad? OTW has its badge currently, but the create station method doesn't work for me.

through the create station, i’ve found that Off the Wall, Bad, and Dangerous play in DA with no badges displayed on the album pages. no other albums have a badge or play in DA, create station or not
 
Will update more as I listen:

Jam: Feels like an alternate stripped mix. Features some string pads during the rap verse too which was kinda cool. Also has a weird echo thing on the horns break and throughout that throws the rhythm off a bit. Not the worst mix but lost its aggressiveness. 5/10

Trip: Kinda the same deal with Jam, it’s lost its aggressiveness. There’s also a really clear kick drum that I can’t tell if it’s new or was in the original but kinda throws off the vibe a little. 5/10

In the closet: A mess. Vocals were way too loud and sounds like they filtered some stuff from the original mix and sloppily pasted into this mix. Some things are out of time. Also missing some vocals. 1/10

Listening on my setup right now since I'm home.

Jam -- Not bad, noticed a sort of echo/reverb to the horns, 7/10
Trip — I actually really like this one. It's really punchy and sounds more respectful of the original mix. 8/10
ITC -- As webslinger mentioned earlier, there's some weird filter on one of the lyrics, and the vocals are a bit too loud and all over the place. 5/10.
SDMW -- Some elements in the beginning are a bit quiet, and it feels like some BGV are missing toward the end of the song. 5.5/10
RTT -- Sounds very much like the original mix. I think this is one of the best ones. 9/10
CLHGA -- Also pretty respectful of the original mix, was weirdly quiet in the beginning, and randomly got louder seconds after. 8/10
HTW -- Same thing, minus the random loudness. This is also one of the best ones IMO. 8.5/10
BOW -- Gets a little loud right before Bottrell's rap section, but also one of the best ones. 8/10
WII -- Also one of the best ones, very respectful of the original mix, but I think the end was a bit cut off? 8.5/10
GITM -- Some elements are a bit quiet, but otherwise pretty good. 6.5/10
WYBT -- Never was a big fan of this song. Vocals sounded a bit weird at one point, and at the end, they are a bit loud. 7/10
KTF -- Faithful to the original mix from what I remember. 8/10
GTS -- Pretty respectful of the original mix, too. One of the best out of the mixes here. 9/10
Dangerous -- Vocals are a bit too loud at the start imo. Also very faithful to the original mix. 8.5/10

Will be updating as I listen.

Has anyone tried ripping the individual Dolby Atmos stems for these songs yet? I’d do it myself but I don’t have my PC rn.

btw, what IS your setup? i wanna listen on my surround system but i haven’t been able to figure that out

I don't have an Atmos setup quite yet, but I have a 5.1 system. My Apple TV is hooked up via HDMI to my AVR, and on my Apple TV, I have the audio format set to auto and in AM's settings I have Atmos set to Automatic

i feel like they cooked for the most part… i haven’t listened to everything yet. one thing i forgot to mention earlier, give in to me, the intro where the guitar starts, you hear a part that i think was intended to be muted. just a quick second but glaringly noticeable to anyone familiar with the song

I just listened to GITM and it was pretty good! and i did noticed that guitar part

Well, this is interesting. Bad and Off the Wall also have Atmos badges in addition to Dangerous (and Thriller). All tracks from Bad currently play in Atmos, except for the title track. All tracks from Off the Wall also play in Atmos. I do think they should fix that crop job done for HIStory continues. No tracks play in Atmos from HIStory Continues, Invincible, Michael, or Xscape (yet)

HIStory: Past, Present, Future - Book I still exists on there. They just separately added HIStory Continues for some odd reason... I'm pretty sure they can mark the original HIStory as a compilation and standard album
 
Silly question but do you guys think that they will release Dolby atmos support for HIStory-Invincible today or when they drop biopic part 2?
