2015 Reissue Editions

I noticed that some of Michael's albums were reissued in June. They don't contain the content from the special editions and it looks like they might be the original releases (aka without any re-mastering).
"Definitive re-issue version of this incredible album, issued exactly as the artist originally intended them to be heard (with no additional material)."

Yeah, I saw the reissue of Off The Wall at JB Hi-Fi a few months ago and posted some photos.

By "Definitive re-issue version of this incredible album, issued exactly as the artist originally intended them to be heard (with no additional material)." I think they mean content wise, not mix wise. In all honesty they're probably just the remasters produced for the 2001 Special Editions, but someone who wants to buy them again would have to verify that for us.

Well I'm going to go buy them today. I'll report back with whether or not they are the original masters or the remastered versions.

So my verdict is: Off The Wall, Thriller and Dangerous are fine and are better than the Special Editions but avoid Bad.

It might just be because I'm so far gone today, thanks to geometry. But, why avoid Bad exactly? I'm a tad confused.

They look the same at first glance but I overlaid a few of them over each other last night and there are some small differences between the 2001 SE and 2015 Reissues.

I don't think they're the original masters. Although they're better than the Special Editions, except Bad.
