Hello good evening, my name is slymj, I am a very avid Michael fan, I would like to ask you a fan to fan question, I would like, if you still know, to post a real 2024 update on singles, albums sold and everything else after 2010 . . . I understand that something is not right, example of thriller sales... I hope you will answer me soon, how much did the king of pop really sell all over the world? so far.....I'm waiting for an answer...many moonwalkers like me/everyone will need to know after the new releases after xscape 2010 etc..

They had published in 2010 but have not updated further. I would like to understand one billion in sales or seven hundred and fifty million? make a list if possible

If I understand your question - how many albums and singles have been sold in the last 14 years?

The answer is... hardly any.

They no longer release singles. And nobody buys albums any more because the public moved on to streaming. CD sales for 2023 in the US were 87 million, and 10.8 million in the UK. The only other place worth considering is Japan.

If we're generous, MJ might have had 1% of those sales, shall we call it 1 million per year for all albums combined? For Thriller's 40th anniversary, it only sold an additional 50,000 copies in the US (ie not even 0.1 million).

Se siamo generosi, MJ avrebbe potuto avere l'1% di quelle vendite, possiamo chiamarlo 1 milione all'anno per tutti gli album messi insieme? Per il 40° anniversario, Thriller ha venduto solo 50.000 copie in più negli Stati Uniti (cioè nemmeno 0,1 milioni).

sì, grazie, scusa, sono un fan italiano, intendevo questo se puoi invitare altri fan che conoscono più dati....volevo dire un po' di più, ma la cifra esatta dal 1969 al 2024 quanti singoli album DVD ha venduto in totale se tu posso rilasciare un elenco aggiornato con tutti i titoli che considero thriller ad esempio
thriller l'album originale lp cd 1982 72.500.000? 2009 ok ma oggi?
