70's rock

ELP / Pictures At An Exhibition - 1971, live at Newcastle City Hall

@hope - 70's prog rock is probably not your thing but ELP were one of my fave groups back in the day and this is one of my all-time fave albums. This is their take on Mussorgsky's classical work. I love it. Here's the Baba Yaga suite.

The Hut of Baba Yaga - up to 1m 12s
The Curse of Baba Yaga - from 1m 15s to 5m 20s
The Hut of Baba Yaga - 5m 20s to 6m 28s

Very curious)))) Thank you!
But it's really not my kind of music.
Although he liked the sound at the beginning of the second part. In the third part the hut just runs)))) such a fast tempo.

That's fine, lol. I didn't expect that you would necessarily like it. :)

I love it but also love that the music had a life even beyond it's life as classical music, if that makes sense.

See, for me the ELP version is very expressive and atmospheric. But I take your point.
