Dear Ivy,

first I wish you a happy new year – may it bring loads of happiness, love, health and fulfillment to you!

I am writing to you concerning “MJWorldCry” – probably you have heard of it before?
It was founded 2009 by Amber Sipes. As she is not able to carry on with it she asked us here in Leipzig to take over - which is really an honour to us.

We would like to reach out to more fans as it were till now and we were thinking right away of mjjcommunity, as here are so many active fans from all over the world!

Do you think we could present MJWorldCry here on the forum, maybe even with a “sticky” for some days? That would be REALLY great!
Even though it fits the best in the "legacy"-forum... maybe there's a chance to even keep it for some days at the "News"? As it is kind of "newly started" now?

I would send you (or maybe someone else you would like me to contact in this matter?) the text we would like to post here before for that you can see if this is alright.

Gaz I really think this would be good for the board :) Many fans participate in this around the world
We could allow them one thread in news that they can keep updated for the Worldcry event (which is now June 29th)

This is an event where fans gather all around the world at the same time light candles and sing Michael Jackson's cry
plus each city or group that particpate has ther own little celebration.

Seems ok to me, perhaps ask them if they want to be in partnership by addling a logo of MJJC to their website in return for the forum thread, if the wanted they can put a link on thier site to the thread for discussion as they do not have a forum.
 
ok, I'll ask for partnership and I'm guessing we are okay with the news forum? we discussed keeping that part active before

Dear MJ-friends around the world, we call you all to join MJWorldCry – one of the (if not THE) biggest international charity-tributes to Michael and his humanitarian achievements.

Most of you have probably heard about it already, to participate please have a look on the new website: www.mjworldcry.net

And for those of you who don’t know about it yet we’d like to present the event and its idea here at MJJCommunity who’s team is friendly supporting us to spread the word!

MJWorldCry was founded by Amber Sipes in November 2009.
When Michael Jackson died, Amber realized that not all the fans had the means to travel to places that celebrated Michael's life. The worldwide grief that engulfed the globe needed a starting point...
And so the first, annual worldwide, candlelit, simultaneous vigil to remember Michael Jackson and his humanitarian efforts was born. Since June 25th, 2010 those vigils took place every year, to honor, celebrate and bring people together in remembrance of Michael Jackson.

In the days, weeks and months before each vigil, a lot is going on behind the scenes. People around the world in each city are involved and engaged with caring works, organizing acts of kindness and practical help, and raising money for a charity of their choice.

France, Germany, Australia, Romania, many States in the USA and loads of other countries -- all come together at the same time to cry out for positive, lasting, real change around the world and they come to remember Michael.

This is an invitation to you and your part of the world, the world that Michael held for so long, to be a part of this global honoring of a great man.

That's lovely :) I would be proud for us to support such an effort. we need to be associated as supporting positive endevours like this. They will add our banner as a supporter on thier site - Win.. Win
