He did, together with Leonard Rowe on Larry King Live. And his lawyer Oxman didn't miss any chance to call Michael 'drug addict'.

well if his own family is saying that Michael "was in denial"......then the defense is gonna play that card as a defense. Poor Michael is getting a bad rap even in death. It breaks my heart to see what they are doing to his legacy....:(......His poor children will have to remember this for the rest of their lives,

This is the reason why I am so so with the family even thro i support them its hard because "the real people who need to speak out for MJ are not because of all the treats and fear "them people who were after MJ for years are dangerous"

that was the best way they had to try and contest the will..it didn't work but now it works perfectly for murrey's defence...
I'm so disappointed...can you imagine when M's kids find out that their own family told this stuff about their father(prob they already know)?you always hear them speak about big ideals about saving and protecting humanity and then they are not even able to show some respect to 3 kids.

Dr. Murray May Ask to Delay Preliminary Hearing

Dr. Conrad Murray's legal team claims it may not be ready for the preliminary hearing next month, because they still have not received the full criminal file on the Michael Jackson manslaughter case.

Miranda Sevcik, spokesperson for Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, tells TMZ they have only received 3,500 pages of discovery. Sevcik cites a news report in which the D.A.'s office claims it has "hundreds of thousands of pages of material."

But a D.A. spokesperson told TMZ on Friday that the statement that there were "hundreds of thousands" of pages was their error ... and in fact there are only "thousands of pages" and the defense has received "the bulk of it."

Sevcik's response ... "It's odd. It seems like an awfully big miscalculation."

Sevcik says if the defense team does not get all the docs soon, they may ask to delay the preliminary hearing -- set for June 14.

prelim isnt happening on the 14th thats the date to set it non story. typcial chernoff trying to get one over by making claims about the amount of docs
 
it's possible that they'll try to delay it as much as they can

yeah a rather bizare statement. i guess they cant decide between whether mj did it himself and now this.
 
I don't believe in this version. I mean, that Michael auto injected himself with Propofol. The version that makes more sense to me, is the one showed in the VHS1 famous scene crime. That Michael was desperately trying to sleep and Murray injected him with sedatives (probably the ones showed in the autopsy report), in an attempt to make him sleep and in the end injected Michael with Propofol (a powerful dosage, not just a small one as he said). Then left the room and made three phone calls, that according to his phone records, lasted about 45 minutes. When he returned Michael was not breathing. He tried to resuscitate Michael to no avail. Not sure how long it took for Murray to call assistance. According to the program, it may have taken a little while before 911 was called. When the paramedics arrived Michael was dead, but Murray insisted on taking Michael to the hospital. They tried, but Michael had already gone.

I do not believe in any kind of conspiracy theories. Murray was desperately in need for money. He was in debt and needed to pay child support. He was making a fortune. And besides killing Michael, someone so high profile, he would ruin his life and career.

Michael was under severe stress because of the concerts. He was performing the concerts because he needed. He had agreed to perform 10 concerts, but was pushed into performing 50 concerts. I cannot even imagine the stress he was under. Not being able to sleep properly was only a consequence of stress he was under and Propofol was most likely the only drug that was making him sleep.

Certain items found in the room where Michael Jackson died could help shape Dr. Conrad Murray's defense -- namely, that other docs were medicating Michael.

Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... evidence in the room suggests certain potent drugs were "prescribed and prepared" for MJ to self-medicate.

As we first reported, Dr. Murray's team will not challenge the L.A. County Coroner's finding that Jackson died of a massive Propofol overdose. But as we told you, Murray's team will present evidence in the doc's manslaughter case that Michael awakened, then gave himself the fatal dose of Propofol when Murray left the room.

We're told Murray's team hasn't decided if it will use the evidence found in the room to implicate other doctors in Jackson's death. But we do know Murray's legal team will present evidence during the trial that the fruits of Jackson's notorious doctor shopping over two decades wore his body down.

The rep for Dr. Murray's lawyer refused comment.

what evidence are they talking about. I think all the drugs that were found were named in the coroner's report?
 
there is no evidence. this article is total B.S someone tell me if im wrong but the only other drugs founds in the room connected to this where some drugs prescribed by metzger/klien and they were pretty old and had hardly been touched. there were drugs for insomnia. and antibiotics etc. nothing that supports murrays defence

mj did not have a heart attack cause his heart was week from all the drugs he had taken over the years.diprivan will kill even the healthiest person if the paitent is not monitored so mjs physical health or lack of it is irrelvent. and as said the A.R shows that mj was healthy. so that is no defence at all. its grasping at straws big time

all this shows is a really weak defence. i fail to see how murray will even be alalowed to go down that route and id like to see his evidence of dr shopping seeing as the the police investigated and found nothing.

its makes me sick knowing this is the defence route and its gonna be a total character assination of mj. our only hope is the judge doesnt allow it. becasue if he does imo murray will walk because of the re writing of history that has gone on the last year and half by the jacksons (what a family) and the media

The judge won't allow this crap because there is no proof of it. The doctors were cleared and the stuff MJ had prescribed was for sleep and they didn't kill him and they weren't in his system. Murray has no defense. Mike died of propofol intoxication administered by Murray not nothing Metzger or Klein gave him. And still he left MJ alone which is a part of his charge being negligent, so how is he going to defend that?
 
Whatever is his defense he needs to show evidence to support what he's saying, otherwise it won't help him to say MJ was using other drugs.
