I just came back from 9 days of Michaeling in LA. I had a wonderful time with the fan groups and on my own. I stayed busy everyday. There is so much to do in LA. Some of things I did with fans and/or by myself and everything was FREE:
Visited the THRILLER house on Carrol Street
Visited the corner where THRILLER was filmed.
Took pictures of the PALACE theater at 615 S. Broadway where the Thriller movie theater is.
Went to a basketball game FREE at the Staples Center (employee outside had two, another fan had 1 for our party of three). Good seats too! Tickets said $100 on them each!
Took pictures of a painted wall mural of Michael in the 1993 superbowl in a parking lot at S. Cahuenga & Hollywood Blvd.
Took pictures of Michael's and The Jacksons stars on the Walk of Fame.
Took pictures with Michael's picture at the HOLLYWOOD WAX Museum outside.
Went to Michael's home at Carolwood Drive & Hayvenhurst compound.
Went to Westlake Recording Studios where Off the Wall & Thriller were recorded.
Went to A & M Records (now Jim Henson Studios) where WE ARE THE WORLD was recorded.
Went to the Peterson Automotive Museum - we went just before closing and were able to walk around the entire museum free. This is where Christian Audigier's 50th BD party was held in 2008.
Went to several stores where Michael liked to shop: OFF THE WALL antiques, ***** books and toys, Hennessy & Ingalls bookstore, etc...
Went to Universal CityWalk... $10.00 parking, $5 if you go to the movies.
Went to Disneyland in Anaheim (used our volunteer free tickets).
Went to the Courthouse to support Michael and give Conrad Murray dirty looks. He was 2 feet away and boldly looked fans in the face.
Went to the Courthouse to support Michael's family and show L.O.V.E.
Went to Forest Lawn to meet fans and support, love.
Took pictures in front of the IVY, SPAGO, etc.
Took pictures in front of the Gardner Street Elementary school aka Michael Jackson Auditorium.
Found out the Michael Jackson Burn Unit is no longer at the hospital in Culver City.
There is much more we did not get to do like going to Neverland, the Forum, CenterStaging, Michael's favorite restaurants, etc.
With the LA fans, we went out to dinner, went to Michael's homes, went to the courthouse, and they invited me to a night of Michael videos and movies, but I had an early flight to catch, so I missed out. I love hanging with MJ fans. They are the best!
I am going back in June to hang out with the awesome LA fans and do more Michaeling!
I did the same in London. I love it!
