I want to move there once I'm finished with my degree (I'm in FL now)
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to make the move as smooth and painless as possible.

I'm planning on selling my car once I graduate, I figure I wouldn't need it really. I would like to move into an apartment, preferably in brooklyn or one of the outer boroughs .I live in an apartment but it's shared with my mother and I'm a full time student but work part time every now and then I'm actually looking for a job now.And I've been to NY quite a few times my dad used to live near manhattan so when I was a kid I would visit him every summer/winter break. I think if I put aside $20 or so everyday until graduation I'd have a enough to survive on until I can find a job up there.
