I have an excelent vinyl rip of 25th Bad. Its the best version of the album i have ever heard ever. A good friend of mine, who has a 6k$ setup and a great method to make the rips shared to me.

BUT, anyone thinks that Michael voice`s on this video has more space? I like a lot more the EQ on this than the album. I dont know if the original vinyl is even better than the 25th vinyl...

By "more space", you mean that the instruments are more separated than the others versions ? The audio quality of this video is way too sharp and doesn't match at all to the true master audio. High-frequencies literally smash up everything, low and medium frequencies are totally gone.

The original CD and LP released in 1987 have the best sound quality.

Note that most of LP remastered editions use digital masters, so basically you have a CD sound on a LP setup, which is completly pointless. Also, remasters are most of them brickwalled.

What does "brickwalled" means:

BAD 25 (CD) is really really BAD in term of dynamic, it's just LOUD and nothing else, there is too much compression compared to the original. I don't know about the LP but i guess it's not as good as the original (1987).

Use that to check the Dynamic Range:

In my opinion the original CDs are compressed. I know 25th Bad CD is really bad, but the vinyl i think is great.

Take a look [link removed by staff]

The youtube version is indeed to bright, but comparing to the album version the track has more breath.

I just compared with the ripped LP i have (original 1987), mine sounds more "natural" to me. I will check if i can upload it somewhere so you can listens to it. :)
