I randomly ordered a very cheap Moonwalker DVD from 2009 from amazon, they sent me a DVD from 2011 (different cover, Pagacke © 2011, Supplementay Material © 2005 ... there may be other dates but there's a sticker on it and I still don't unwrap it in case I'd want to send it back). I know there there is a 2005 DVD too.

Expected DVD cover (2009)Received DVD cover (2011+?/same as blu-ray)2005 DVD cover (I think)

Are there noticeable differences in the DVD content between all of these? (other than the covers and typical regional stuff. Also in this thread I'm asking about DVDs only, not Blu-Ray.)

Ok, I needed to click on "Display all releases all countries".
But then they don't give much info of content differences.

I was thinking of stuff like changes in image / sound quality, cut scenes, bonus etc.

What is the aspect ratio on the DVD you received? I have the DVD with this cover and the aspect ratio is 4:3 (black bars on the sides):

Blu-Ray is widescreen like the movie was in threaters.
